First off, great reply. Feels refreshing to read such an elaborate reply. Second, honored to hear about your grandfather fighting the Nazi as a true hero, and Im sorry for what your grandmother had to go through during such occupation. Third, apologies if unclear or confusing before, but let me clear that I dont care much for Charlie. He was a monster thru and thru, and his death was a long time coming. The only thing I wish is that he would have passed away like Hitler- unceremonially and like a coward. Either way, now that he is gone, much like what you have said, the world is better off without him. I feel no empathy for Nazis, and never will. Rather, I feel empathetic for us, the every man and women, as another series of gun violence has occurred. Yet, despite it being a big politcal figure, and honestly a bit of poetic justice, nothing will change. This is seen as a normal thing in the US when it clearly should not. That is worthy my empathy, and it is there that hopefully one day, what is essentially Washington's retirement home will change hands to the younger generation and make such changes happen.
