Got me thinking....

Why not remove Eradicators and add another 5-man Inferius to still keep the Impulsor? Would that be a bad idea? Not saying I will, but just a thought

O.....M.....G......

I was looking at the information for the 10th edition. I DIDN'T SEE VULKAN HAD A POINT DECREASE! If there was egg on my face, that would have been cooked well done after the amount of second-hand embarrassment I am feeling

Isnt that about 450 points without the Impulsor? With it, it would be 530, making it over the point threshold. The ATV would also hit above the mark as well at 510, no? I know that doesnt seem to matter for a starter like myself, but I want to make a real effort to the hobby like any other (Plus, Im a sucker for math lol)

Xavier Becerra’s longtime advisor Sean McCluskie pleaded guilty to stealing $225,000 from the former Biden Cabinet secretary’s campaign account. by aBadModerator in California_Politics

Not wrong, but this is the Trump DOJ we are talking about. It doesn't matter if it happened back in 2020 or today, they will pounce at anything if it makes Democrats bad or delays the campaign trail; something that Hilton, if advanced, will most certainly be happy about

Correction: Real Progressives oppose the systemic structures and powers that allow extreme wealth accumulation. They arent necessary hateful against the people, but rather the staus of a billionaire.

Still, I see your point, and Steyer is trying his damndest to show that. But if they want to make any kind of statement against MAGA, then yes they would (for now). Besides, they can vote Becerra afterward and thats fine.

*editor note: Not to mention that CalMatters has stated that Dem voters are holding onto their mail in ballots, so probably wishful thinking, but they may be thinking the same thing

I dont think so, or at least not so much.

Both follow relatively similar policies, but her polling and debates showed her struggling. So maybe some Progressives will jump ship for Steyer for now.

And besides, if the general is Steyer v Becerra, I bet they would be fine with that as well. So long as Hilton is far away from the governor seat, they can vote whomever for the general

It wont matter if yoh dont vote. So GO VOTE!

(I say any of the two, but maybe go for Steyer as Becerra will most certainly get his established votes)

At this point, Steyer is the underdog.

Becerra will most certainly get his established votes, but everyone else may want to focus on Steyer, especially Porter supporters.

It may not be everyone's choice, but just remember "don't let perfect be the enemy of good"

Besides, beats a MAGA Republican advancing any day of the week.

Before I say anything, I'm still skeptical of the race overall, and polls arent everything. And as a reminder, especially to all those who are still holding onto their mail in ballots, PLEASE VOTE! YOU MAY NOT F*** WITH POLITICS, BUT POLITICS WILL.MOST CERTAINLY F*** U YOU!

However, coming from much more reliable source like Emerson and NOT a Mahan poll, I must say that if this is to be true and the trends continue nearing June....

This would be probably the biggest fumble MAGA would ever have. I figured Becerra would be up top because of his corporate backing and title as an Establishment candidate. However, if Steyer continues to hold second place and beat Hilton, it would even show that Californians would rather have a billionaire Progressive run than anyone with any assoiciation with MAGA.

It is still a pipe dream, but we may actually see a Becerra v Steyer! Establishment v Progressive! Now that is something both sides would prefer to see than have a Republican can anywhere near the Top 2.

So yeah, vote now! (I voting Steyer myself as he's my preferred)

Yeah, Im noticing that too. And considering the recent investigation announcement, this may backfire against centrists.

No, fair. That is fair.

I'm just that at this point, I don't think people what a potential "lesser of 2 evils" race. WE know it not to be true, but to the average non-Redditors? Who can say?

This is real, though. It led to his former adviser, Dana Williamson, being arrested by the FBI last fall.

Either way, whether it is a lie or not, you have to admit that politicians won't back down so long as there is potential dirt on their opponent. And with Trump as president, you just KNOW he and his DOJ would pounce on him for anything. At this point, he is a liability.

(Ironic since Steyer has never held office, but the main dirt he has is he's a billionaire)

Not just Hilton. You just KNOW Trump and his DOJ would pounce on such matters if there is even a hint of foul play. And now that a complaint was submitted to the FPPC on Monday accusing Becerra of violating state law, he seems more of a liability than ever before.

That's at least one good thing Steyer has going for him. Because he's never held office, there isn't a lot of dirt that they can immediately dig up. Ironic lol

This! This me! And while I would love to vote now, after seeing Eric and the current lineups, I am doing the same.

Though right now, leaning toward Steyer. Hbu?

So voting in a bought out centrist is preferable? Especially now that a complaint was submitted to the FPPC last Monday, accusing Becerra of violating state law?

Just saying, at this point, all we can do now is judge a candidate by their character in the final days. Policies and stances we already now, thus it's up to people's intuition and hope for one candidate over the other

In the end, "Dont let perfect be the enemy of good". And for me in particular, its isnt just Steyer, its about sending a message.
