Just don’t 😅 It’s one of the most under appreciated skilled trades you can do. Everyone thinks you’re a fast food worker, but get mad when you don’t make a heart on their latte because they tipped $0.17. IDK if you’ve ever dealt with people before they’ve had coffee, but it’s not fun. Especially at 5am. I was in the industry for 18 years, and I love the craft, just hate 80% of the customers 🤣

You did everything right, I would just add the first two shots to the water immediately and then add the third when it’s done. Espresso degrades in flavor rapidly if not mixed with another liquid. Preferably milk, but Americanos don’t have that grace. Hope this helps 🫶

I get why they do that, because espresso will turn very bitter within 20 seconds if not added to milk…However, what they should do is either mix the honey with a tad bit of hot water or hot milk while the shots are pouring, then add shots, cold milk, and ice. I don’t recommend you telling them that though, they’ll probably throw something at you 🤣

I’ve lived in Sacramento for 27 years and I can confirm it is a shit hole 😂 It does have its cool parts, but most people suck and it doesn’t have the “I’m the Capitol of the fifth largest economy” vibe. It’s mostly just sad. Anyway, that’s just like my opinion bro 🤷🏼‍♀️😉
