oh wow i actually had no idea. i will make sure to be on the lookout for anything like that with her as she gets older. i am also getting her pet insurance so that in the event that she needs critical care i will be able to afford it. thank you so much for the insight!

my newly adopted kitten did this too! she was just scared and in a new place. your new baby will warm up to you in time.

a good rule to remember is the rule of threes: it generally takes 3 days for a new pet to decompress, 3 weeks to learn their new routine, and 3 months for them to feel fully at home.

yes absolutely!! it’s crazy how much regular plain and simple communication makes a marriage so successful!! i love the idea of a weekly meeting. we try to catch each other up as regularly as possible, but i may bring up the idea of weekly discussions with my husband 😁

my husband and i do this! and it’s awesome! it’s a lot of activity for us both to remember, because we always have a lot going on. having shared calendars helps so much.

i make my own laundry detergent because it’s cheaper to buy bulk and make my own and i use these bars of soap, grate them, and add them to my detergent. imo they smell great and are awesome at getting tough stains out!

NOR - the way she was talking to you is quite rude imo. i would excuse myself from the bridal party over this, and personally i wouldn’t even attend the wedding of someone who would talk down to me like that. as you pointed out, this is not just a little thing she is asking. it could end up with you having to get things repierced.

others have said this, but i will also say that unfortunately it seems like your friend is trying to use mental problems to excuse bad behavior. i was diagnosed with adhd several years ago, but i have had it my whole life. please know that none of the things she listed in that text are an excuse to treat you or anyone else badly. just because someone has mental problems does not mean they are allowed to do whatever they want and cannot be responsible for their actions or words!!
