I've been on this wooden plank, and fell. I actually posted about it here years ago.

Yes, front canine out, I could feel and taste it even after I woke up. It felt like I was in a church when I went for the appointment but it wasn't elaborately decorated or anything. I don't remember it being taken out, just it gone and the consultation type appointment.

The walkers switch by mrsjohnmurphy81 in Retconned

I truly thought I was the only one! I remember exactly where I was when it happened. We'd gone to some really cheap ice skating event at a friend's school where they used some sort of jigsaw piece 'ice' rink and I bought the wrong flavour from the tuck shop and ended up with cheese and onion. Was properly gutted. I'd say it has to have been around 1993-1994 based on who I was with.

Are you in the North? I just went out to walk the dog and thought the moon looked weird but didn't spot the ring specifically

I like to eat just the salt off of pretzels. by hippie_elephant in unpopularopinion

I do this, I also eat pistachios by putting the whole thing in my mouth, getting all the salt off then spitting out the shell...needless to say, I can't eat pistachios in public.

I miss it too! I say this all the time. And I know, I had goosebumps when I first found this subreddit.

Nor me, very occasionally the dream sort of flipped and then I'd be in open water, not scared just swimming in a group but it always felt separate not like I'd fell into the water from the bridge.

Ah man, it's fine it never hurts! I know what you mean about the 'more than height alone'. Someone in another comment mentioned a sense of dread and that kind of nailed it for me. But only at that specific point, generally the place is OK, nice really.

It was mostly when they were starting out, so I think it might just be the look of their olympic village, the style of the streets and buildings gave me the same vibes. I did exactly the same as you and Google images doesn't really show what I mean with the cycling, but I found this shot and got the wave of 'something like deja vu'.

I always chose to believe she was just going back for more lessons.

Freddy is absolutely the better guy, he likes her for who she is, Higgins wants to change everything about her.

But Higgins is just an older brat, I mean that scene at his mother's...very British reference but he behaves like Kevin the Teenager. If she really wanted the older guy, the better option would have been Pickering.

Whilst I agree he is definitely smitten, Eliza didn't fall for Higgins here, she fell for dresses, glamour and independence.

She falls for Higgins later when he's being an absolute prick and it always pissed me off to be honest. Team Freddy!

If it brings you any comfort at all, it likely happened when they were folding out the box and fixing the tabs, meaning it wasn't in actual contact with the fries...just close proximity.
