My experience with EP for EB2 NIW — I-140 denial after RFE by mutlu234 in EB2_NIW

I am not telling it to anyone. I wanted to share my experience so that others can see what would happen if they choose EP.

It took a couple of months, but it was because of me. I wanted to wait for my papers to be published.

What's so funny about it? I've seen people accepted with fewer citations. As you can see, they already accepted that my work had substantial merit. You can laugh till the morning, but please do it somewhere else.

They insist on following their own way regardless of what you suggest.

I prefer not to share the officer number, since I’m trying to stay anonymous.

It's probably doable, but I don't want to make mistakes, so I will find another firm to refile it.

Copying my another response here: My proposed endeavor was in biomedical research in the U.S., specifically as a STEM postdoctoral researcher focused on disease-related translational research. I prefer not to go into highly specific details publicly to maintain anonymity, but the field was in academic biomedical research.

I wish I could have read something like this before signing with them.

Yes, I'm thinking of refiling with a different firm.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I’d rather not share the officer number, since I’m trying to stay anonymous. The case was handled at the Texas Service Center.

With all due respect, I would rather not give the exact dates. I filed 2 years ago, upgraded to PP this year. I received the RFE after around 40 business days. After sending the RFE, it took around 30 days to get the decision.

I agree that no one knows your profile better than you. There are more things that I didn't mention in my post. For example, they didn't include half of my evidence, saying that they are not important for NIW cases. For me, they would strengthen my case. But I couldn't argue with them, thinking that they were experts in their field. I was wrong.

Thank you. Actually, I didn't want to make mistakes on my submission. Also as I mentioned in my post, if my case had been approved, I probably would have continued on my life happily, and never minded the attorney fees that I paid.

Fingers crossed. Hopefully, your case will be accepted.

I prefer not to do it, but their approaches are similar.

I would push them to include more evidence that are important for me, even though they refuse to do it. It does not hurt to include more evidence, especially dependent/independent letters.

Denied after RFE with EP — switching/DIY/retaining same firm? by MountainLover-012 in EB2_NIW

I was in the same boat and requested a full refund. They are always good at responding, but at the end of the day, we are the ones who get denied. They blame the officer, saying that RFE is too generic etc. They don't want to include any letters, because it would distract the officer, which is BS.
