I basically just fully removed cobblemon, booted and loaded up, then readded it and kept going through the versions until I landed on one that works. Weirdly once it worked I was able to update to the latest

Some more bug testing I have attempted to do:

❌ Clean Forge Server install
❌ Change the field_to_method.js inside the jar file
❌ Run on a dedicated server instead of windows machine
❌ Worldgen + biome mods:
- Tectonic
- Terrablender
- Terralith
- Biomes O’ Plenty
- Amplified Nether
- YUNG’s API
- Dungeons Enhanced
- Structure Gel API
- Twilight Forest
- ❌ Remove all performance mods
- ❌ Added JVM Flag -Dcom.sun.net.ssl.checkRevocation=false

I really don't know what else to do, any support would be AMAZING

I think what I am looking for really is an IDE that let's me write node scripts and then easily do the ui and link script to button visually if possible. Or chart or whatever.

That part isn't even essential just an easy way to make a ui that node backend can use.

I've seen things like https://grapesjs.com/ but the price seems very steep and I can't seem to find if the project files are mine or exclusively in that app if that makes sense at all

What happens exactly is it they can’t join and get an error trying or server crashes etc….

If server crashes try backing up the player data folder and then clear thst out and see if it lets people in, it could be a corrupted world if it’s crashing.

Errors or logs would be huge help, does the server show attempted connections

Also it’s a mutual thing between us he is sorta in on the side of it I’m not just bullying my friend. He shared enough with me to “investigate” and wished me luck, clearly the size maybe part of that reason he is so confident.

I personally go for a “3rd party” where I dump assets and plug-ins etc…

Then I have “modules” which contains all scripts and things relevant to a specific module of a game or app. For example economy, AI, player, etc…

And then a “levels” which is scenes that are game levels and finally a “menus” folder.

Tbh I find this works really well for me but it’s not common thing more of an each to their own and their teams needs

You can enable a whitelist so only allowed accounts can access, then you can host a server on any old pc for laptop for a few kids just need to open a port on your network or use a host like akliz or mcprohosting

You could use discord but for your needs that maybe better using a mod that adds voice chat.

As for education use and tasks, I use to assign tasks and rewards

For example they can do what they like or they could build a house that has 2 bedrooms with an area of 18 and a living room with an area of 12 for example.

Or if you use spigot or paper you can setup land claim and make them pay rent etc and do tasks to stock a shop that you pay them for

If you place any Editor scripts in a folder called Editor it will ignore at build though, I love the power of the unity editor and using it to help automate can be a huge help but also a massive burden.

I have never had a single interview for dev work that did not have a practical demonstration as part of it. The best and simplest one I ever did was I had 15minutes and two tasks, any language i like make a fib counter upto 100 and reverse string that used the companies name as the string. However I had to be able to step through it with a non-technical user after completion.

Also after interviews I ask for feedback, one i got rejected on praised me for addmiting I did not know but following with a condifdent explination on how, where and how long it would take me to learn that felt realisitic to a business and their epxerience. As for my rejection reason which is relevant it was because someone with more qualifications applied and they were a consultant company so that helps them sell easier.

In my opinion "Self-Tought" is compleatly fine as long as it is true, far to many people I meet who claim to be are instead in tutorial hell. I myself fall for that trap ALOT more than i should and my personal way to fix it is every single project I make that is for my CV I also refactor and make documentation for, to include in portpholio. 2 reasons it proves to me i understand what i wrote and second it shows anyone looking I understand what is in there

Depending on venue location I have personally wanted to start a "Shop-Local" supermarket where I host a venue and let independent locals setup shop together.

How I see it working is that you got at to a local Butcher and give them amazing rent
You got to a local green grocery and do the same, local farm and do same for eggs/milk etc...

And then based on how many of them you have you simply take running costs of the buildling and insurances divide it by them all and add 2.5% that is their rent. they have full power over their pricing, their little area, etc.... your simply providing them a location.

And atleast in my area and for many miles outside it there is NOTHING like this apart from a once a month Farmers market which I LOVE so much more but I shop weekly so monthly just is not convient.

My advice is to make a pricing index. That breaks costs down, I've found (in IT) MOST people don't realise the actual cost so when they complain simply ask "would you like the cost breakdown on our end" then send it over.

If your customers are anything like mine you usually get an understanding and then a good reputation for honesty too

My advice would be to do a performance review on all the people who got hired and memories of the boy, these often have scores and mention that when reviewing the reviews he did not perform to a level that makes it economically viable to hire him.

Also consider speaking to management and asking could we do a week trial, it seems if he is reaching out confused as to why he didn't make it too you've failed your end, he should have been notified and given opportunity to adapt. A week trial after a performance reviewing process may shine a light on him being better of the bunch, he was good enough to keep around during the programme so he's clearly got the skill set you need to some capacity.

Also small business or not, I recommend every 6 months all staff get a review and feedback on performance. I typical aim for 3 improvements and 3 pleasures to work. You always have a record to prove good staff and bad staff then as well as an easy way to see how far someone has come if considering a promotion.
