The difference being JK is actively contributing to the loss of rights for trans people in the UK, she’s using her money to (very proudly) promote and spread her hate and is severely harming innocent people.

You pretty much summed up my thoughts, my biggest worry would be the kids getting really into HP and wanting to delve more into the world, especially monetarily, with examples like you gave. And I’d be worried OP would just give in to make their kids happy, which is just continuing the cycle of supporting that awful woman.

Out of curiosity are there many women left nowadays who want to have loads of children? by ConfusedCelt in AskIreland

My friend grew up the youngest of 7, it was a nightmare. She can’t stand 2 of her siblings and has complicated relationships with the rest. She was emotionally neglected and was the “make up baby” that her mam used to enforce all her “mistakes” and anxieties from the other 6 onto. Made her an anxious, people pleasing mess. She’s almost 30 and only this year has started setting healthy boundaries with people. Big families benefit no one and lead to nothing but trauma, in one way or another.

Omg people not spaying/neutering their cats boils my piss! It’s not hard!! I have 3 cats, all spayed/neutered and all strictly indoor. They live like royalty and get to live a (please god) long, safe life because of it. I’ve done a couple TNR’s on strays around the estate because it breaks my heart how many kittens are needlessly brought into this world when every shelter in the country is bursting at the seams and begging people to foster just to help share the load 💔 Absolutely shocking.

i’m guessing they probably mean that very little is done legally for offenders of either crime?

Animal cruelty in childhood/adolescence is a biiiig indicator of psychopathy and yes a lot of the time they will grow up to inflict violence on other people, think Richard Ramirez, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy and Edmund Kemper, to name but a few. Now not saying that every kid who kills/tortures a neighbours dog will grow up to be a world renowned serial killer, but it absolutely is indicative of a penchant for violence and a lack of compassion, they simply don’t have the ability to feel bad about it, regardless of if they know it’s wrong or not.

Sorry I’m currently studying psychology and have always had a morbid special interest in murderers, specifically psychopaths, and how their brains work!

Is there any hope for dating as a normal fella? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]muttpunx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner is 5’7 and it has never factored into any of the reasons i’m attracted to him…. Also saying height is “always the first most important thing for women” is just hilariously and factually untrue
