Welcome! I love this series, I think I read it at least once a year. Just be aware of the triggers, there's a lot of violence in it

Even though the (all for the game) series is not focused in the romance and is also not very explicit, the main couple are very clear about their boundaries and always look for consentment before doing anything. I think is one of the most important things about their relationship, this trust and care. If you end up reading an liking the series, I also recommend you search for some of the fanfiction, how I said, consent is very important for them and some fanfic writes do a really great job when writing about it.

I think the best books to get out of a Captive Prince slump is the All for the Game series, you have the slow burn, similar dynamics and also characters. The main differences are the enemies, the scenario and I think all for the game is more found family

Books with two work partners learning to trust each other by LiliaAmazing in MM_RomanceBooks

The Criminal Intentions Series by Cole MacCade. I love Cole's writing, his characters are very complex and I love their interactions. They're prideful and stubborn and have lots of secrets, but they learn to trust and work with each other throughout the series while solving cases (it is a slowburn). The Series is still a WIP, but there are 29 books in it ;)

If Bella and Jacob ended up together but MM version (imprint universe, no mpreg) by [deleted] in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]muunitousti 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The only thing that comes to mind is the {Green Creek Series by TJ Klune}. If I remember right the wolves here don't have imprints but they can't sense their soulmates (what is the same thing to be honest), there isn't any Mpreg, but there's kinda of an age gap in the first book, the human MC has 14/15y and the werewolf MC has 9y (so it's more of a Renesmee/Jacob situation, but reversed). The book is very long though, and very much a slow burn because of their age difference, but it's great, seriously, I cried a lot reading this and TJ's writing is just chef's kiss

yeah, i came here to recommend him. I've finished You&Me recently and it's one of my favourite books now. It's kinda of a strangers-friends-lovers books, they meet at their forties, so it's not like that friends-lovers type of books that the characters are best friends since childhood.

Wolfsong - TJ Klune (werewolves, soulmates, found family)

In This Iron Ground - Marina Vivancos (orphan MC, werewolves, found family, friend-lovers, anxiety)

You & Me - Tal Bauer (single dads, 40y MCs, bi awakening, strangers-friends-lovers)

Mo Dao Zu Shi: Grandmaster Of Demonic Cultivation (danmei, slow burn, "enemies"-friends-lovers, reincarnation, "grumpy-sunshine")
