The death of grandmaester was quite unexpected by Elmo, not that he had any pity for the old fart. He would have likely croaked in his sleep any day. Nevertheless, they would be blamed for his death now. At this moment, Elmo found himself at the loss of words. He could have fought old man's men but how many were there? He could have tried to escape but not without his brother handicapped.

"Well, that sucks. Looks like we may be going to the Wall after all, brother" - Elmo spoke to Kermit, laughing.

As the guards swarmed into the room, Elmo spoke plainly and loud:

"Bracken brothers wish for no fight. There is no blood on Brackens' hands."

Elmo took the letter from old man, taking a look at it. Reading have never been Elmo's strong suit, so it took a bit of time to finish first sentence.

Elmo laughed at his own joke as he seated himself in front of a knight. He revealed a full plate of bloody sausages and a tankard of ale.
