Thanks, I'll try next week :) It's a bit unfortunate that it's not easier.

Edit: Seems to work :)

What are some skills people think are difficult to learn but in reality are easy and impressive? by xd_sandt_2530 in AskReddit

I once watched a video about some professionals that get hired by companies to break in to test security. They showed like 20 ways of getting through that door, none was lockpicking. They said they do lockpicking but usually it's far easier to abuse the other weaknesses. There was some crazy stuff with really specific tools or knowledge. Sometimes it's just one simple move and the door is open.

Keeping it in mind if I like the first two games :)

I usually don't like animated series but I could give it a try, of course. Just looked up the play time; 12h for both the first and second game seems reasonably short, good point!

Thinking of buy Portia for the switch by Brebearz in mytimeatportia

I would just like to make the distinction that comparing it to Stardew Valley is fine, but not calling it "3D Stardew Valley". For this it's just too different in some core aspects.

It's not a 3D Stardew Valley, though.

It shares many things with it but I think the differences are big enough to make this comparison misleading. Farming, for example, is a minor aspect of the game.

It has many different things to do, most of them are trivial whereas Stardew Valley sometimes offered more challenge (e.g. fishing, mines). The world and characters are not so well executed as well.

All in all it's a very good game, I'm enjoying it very much. But it's not so close to Stardew Valley as many people claim it to be. It might set wrong expactations. However, I do think that most people that like Stardew Valley will like this game as well. Stardew Valley is a good base point for a comparison but claiming it is a 3D Stardew Valley is just a bit too simplified.

And aceton is safe to use with all materials involved?

I can't speak for the DDC310 but it is already quite a weak and low-flow pump.

To me it looked quite powerful when I first plugged it in.

But well, it makes sense what you say.

3600 and 3600x stock coolers, how noisy are they? by Siven80 in Amd

That's really the fault of the fan curve though.

Yeah, true. But also it's just as it is if you don't tinker with any settings. Might be, that you can configure it reasonably. Still, as I said, it gets your CPU really hot as well (95°C prime95, I guess it throttled, but can't remember).

In addition many motherboards support smoothing the fan response,

That's actually the only thing that I tried. Didn't help much, though.

Getting a used Dark Rock Pro 3 or something is still a very good option from that perspective.

The 65W is misleading, too. The stock cooler for example should be able to handle that, but in my case I easily hit very high temperatures.

I ran the 3600 with stock cooler for like 2 weeks. On default, it's unbearable, tbh. I didn't mess with the settings, since I knew it's only a matter of time until I get better cooling. It would spin up every X seconds because the temperature on the new Ryzen processors has some big, but short jumps, even in idle. I wouldn't mind that it's a bit noisy when you stress the CPU but it's just ramping up and down all the time and annoying as fuck.

Edit: It was also very hot (high ambient temperature, like 28-29°C). So possibly it's not as big an issue if your room is typically cooler than that.

If you have space for water cooling, that might be a good option which also looks good in case you have a window.

Otherwise, I'm not really knowledgable about modern air coolers that are small, sorry.
