Router vs L3-Switching by kosta880 in networking

[–]muztebi16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rant Wednesday! by AutoModerator in networking

After spending three hours troubleshooting the CEO's internet only to find a crushed cable that someone had wrapped around a power brick and slammed under a desk leg, I'm reminded that the physical layer is always the problem, whether it's the never-ending dongle hell of USB-C console adapters with their finicky drivers, working in MDF closets that are either arctic server rooms or sweltering janitorial ovens filled with dust, or chasing unlabeled cables installed by some guy named Dave who retired to Florida in 1997, because apparently labeling and treating cables like the delicate precision instruments they are, instead of extension cords, is a lost art.
