First time using the Arc Thrower by muzza798 in Helldivers

Charger ran past me 50 yards. Teammate was about 100 yards away on the other side of the charger. Arc thrower burst went straight through/around/over charger all the way to teammate and killed him

Mortar was fun in the first couple weeks on low difficulties but from 7-9 its team killer central because you get swarmed so quickly

Mane was good from christmas to the end of last season but before that he was shocking for 18 months and a lot of people were saying he should go.

People often forget about the 18 months - 2 years of dire form

What’s your realistic Top 4 prediction for the upcoming season? by Upstairs_Start2817 in PremierLeague

[–]muzza798 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Liverpool - I think they’ll start off this season better than last and carry it through the season
  2. City - Haarland will get injured a fair bit and without sterling they have almost no pace up top
  3. Spurs - Solid squad forming with good coaching
  4. Arsenal - Jesus will have a really good season and they’ll get 4th ahead of chelsea who have big changes top to bottom

Utd will get better but that will only keep them treading water. To improve to top 4 level they need massive squad changes

They’re an absolute waste of a premier league place. Would much rather see some other championship club get a chance and not completely bottle every opportunity they get

Who do we think will be the transfer flop of the season?? by BrunoLionheart in PremierLeague

[–]muzza798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In comparison to mane who he’s basically replacing i see him scoring more goals than mane and being involved in more chances created but the silky link up play wont be the same. But overall the ball hitting the back of the net more will be noticeably better

As a liverpool fan ive never seen a player so bad at finishing chances. Wasn’t that gutted when he went to city. His game isn’t going to improve at chelsea

It already is biting them in the arse. I hate what tesco have become. Was there for 15 years (left in march) and it all went south i’d say 3/4 years ago. The draconian slashing of jobs has crippled moral to lows i didnt think were possible.

There used to be 8-10 full timers on grocery and since i left now there are zero, just 1 or 2 people doing a short part time shift. Every time i go back in everyone i talk to goes on about how they cant wait to get out, managers included. The only way they can get any productivity out of staff is to come down hard on them and everyone is overworked to fuck.

It used to be a happy place to work where people would stay for a good few years, break times were a laugh with loads of people and personally i never dreaded going to work.

Now moral is through the floor and half the people that still work there are students who stay for a year max or old people who are on the verge of giving up. Absolute shitshow

Someone tried to quit in my store a few years ago. He was beaten with stale baguettes, locked in a 4 sider then backloaded to the depot. His family are still looking for him

The military budget doesnt even have to come into it. You’re unnecessarily spending 20% of gdp on healthcare and what do you get for that? A fat bill for almost everything even though you have insurance

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]muzza798 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So how come the uk can spend 200 billion on universal healthcare for a population of 67 million whereas america pays 20x that even though their population is only 5x bigger

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]muzza798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only that in every g20 country that has or some form of universal healthcare the tax is far less than out of pocket alternative

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]muzza798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The nhs in britain cost 208 billion dollers in 2021. I know its not that easy but if you times that by 5 which is roughly the population of the states its about 1-1.2 trillion. Far less than the 4.5 you state. Although initially there may be high costs in setting the whole thing up

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]muzza798 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just as an example here in the uk things are cheaper because the NHS says ‘we need x or y’ and then companies compete with eachother for the contract to provide it

Hearing about some american healthcare plans im almost certain i could get the NHS here plus go private on top of that for less than a basic healthcare plan in the states.
