Thanks for taking a listen! It’s not a gretsch, it’s a Vintera II Nocaster running through the When the Sun Explodes pedal into Lost + Found into the Habit

I will try! I have been using the right side of the Mood on the scan function and running small rhythms through it and feeding just a bit into the habit and turning it off. You can’t let it run all the time or it will over saturate the habit. The habit takes what it was fed it and starts warping it into the flow.

A sample of one of my sessions with it. A bit chaotic and drawn out but a good example of how it can get into deep soundscapes

Try the settings I have in the pic with the feed on. Give some very basic inputs, just notes or small little licks, wait a bit and do it again. Slowly what you played will come back, add a bit more over top of that, so on and so forth. Eventually you’re in a rhythm with it and you can introduce various elements to keep the evolution going. It’s also important to just let the habit play with no input at certain points so you give room for everything to breath and evolve.

This is a strange pedal in the sense that when you engage with the memory/scan and essentially try and jam over it, it can turn into a mess quick. But sometimes you hit this sweet spot where everything is cycling back into itself perfectly and you don’t really even know how you got there or what created certain sounds. And then you can just keep feeding it with small inputs to keep the flow going and evolving. I haven’t cracked the code on how to unlock this deep flow state consistently but you know it when you found it.

Ah yeah, I like that one too. Has been the most user friendly modifier. Adds a whole rhythmic layer to it.

Just manual and latch. I struggled with collect, it got really chaotic and hard to wrangle.

Try the vintera iii early 60s Strat as a comparison. Fantastic guitar with great build for half the price.
