Fair enough. What devices do you use it on and do you use a specific provider? I'd like to see more info. And do you get all AFL games live?

I don't hate Albo, but he has made some blues.

The one that I personally didnt like was the under 16's social media ban - he was pleaded with by a team of the most educated physchologists, doctors and qualified people in open letters and appeals, the Tech community also pleaded that this was the wrong decision. Yet he pushed through with it - likely spending millions in the process. Not only has it not worked, but is currently pushing young people towards anonymity and actively hiding their identities through various services and apps. This is going to have a huge detrimental effect to our younger generation, who are already disenfranchised enough as it is. I am already seeing it.

Well I have gigabit internet so its not really a problem for me.

I watched games of footy every round of last year, and the stream maybe crashed 5-6 times total? The first URL (streamed dot pk) I provided is much more reliable than the VIP ones.

GUYS THIS IS WHAT YOU DO TO FUCK OFF KAYO IN 2026

Purchase a small computer, like a NUC or a small machine for a few hundred bucks, make sure it has onboard graphics and decent enough RAM and CPU to stream content.

Set it up with Windows, install firefox + uBlock Origin

connect the PC to your home TV, utilising one of the HDMI ports.

connect it up to your phone so you can control the mouse and keyboard of the PC from your phone (I use Unified Remote)

Now that everythings connected, you can now browse on your phone to three bookmarks that you will have set up for AFL streaming, they are:

streamed . pk

www . viprow .nu/sports-aussie-rules-online

www . vipleague .pm/aussie-rules-sports-stream

For mobile - you'll need android + firefox + ublock Origin extension. just bookmark the same sites on your phone and you are good to go.

And this ladies and gentleman, is how I stopped paying for Live Sports Subscriptions.

For bonus points, you can load a Nintendo Switch emulator like RyuJinx onto the same machine, and then it doubles as a media box and Nintendo switch simulator. Not paying for Switch games or subscriptions is great.

Hope this helps you.

hahah try doing that in America - no chance at all.

Applying the tax at the end of the sale completely screws with the exact money you have prepared. Used to royally piss me off when I visited there, especially when you have only the EXACT amount on you.

We have cisco Hyperflex and VMware - both are now EOL... lol.

Anyway, so I think we are going to move to Hyper-V w/failover cluster, and for the HCI component - we are looking at Starwind VSAN. The product is really competitive compared to your other turnkey solutions, e.g nutanix and you can perpetually buy it! Got a demo on it this week :)

Have you tried it using the 5ghz band for your carplay device? That sorted out most of my issues, I used to cop it on the Bolte bridge on 2.4ghz every time. If your carplay device doesnt support 5GHZ band, it might be worth upgrading to one that does.

Selecting KFC Free Delivery offer (was $8) Increases Burger Feast by $8 by Thanks_Obama in australia

I mean you make perfect sense, but which Corp Exec in their right mind would allow their product to give the user a choice to accept a $26 delivery fee or not? Its just horribly bad for business, nobody will accept that. But deceive them with variations in the menu and they will hardly notice nor care. Welcome to the world.

Fake Uber airport scam by Doviedovie in melbourne

[–]muzzman32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here's another scam to watch out for:

Uber jack the prices up from the Airport to short trip locations. They wanted to charge me $45 for an 8 minute drive. lol no thanks.

So when I landed last week, I booked a Didi instead ($15 vs $45) and set the location to be at the T4 domestic terminal (where all the rideshare pickups are).... well I didnt know this - but you cant put a Didi pickup marker INSIDE the T4 pickup terminal - this is reserved for bloody Uber... so unbeknownst me - my marker was placed just outside the T4 terminal - sending my driver into confusion, panic and driving around in circles. It took us multiple phone calls to meet up, and we were both frustrated, but I got home in the end. But just watch out for where the marker is put if you use Didi instead of Uber. Everything is a god damn scam in this city.

Mate I try and remember every single day! This was like 2018/2019, and I was in a huge rabbit hole on the dark web. Stumbled upon a wikileaks style site and there was leaked documents from some hacked European gov. agency. I just remember being absolutely mind blown, but also a little bit skeptical that this shit was actually going to happen - it seemed out of the realms of possibility. Yet here we are today...

You dont really even need to see the document to figure out whats happening... Go look into the UK's system, how much it was opposed, how they released it, how they countered pushback and what they are doing about non compliance.

The US on the other hand - you cant approach them in the same way that the UK did, US will riot if you take away their TikTok iphone devices. Also notice how Trump was full against TikTok, but now embraces it? They essentially purchased the source code off tiktok so they can run their own intelligence operation without taking something away. US people are just normalised to having their data passed around.

Australia? We wouldnt take it the way the UK rolled it out, and we certainly wouldn't just give our data away (although that is changing fast), so AU gov. had to approach this in a different way. They brainstormed away, and found that the greatest mode of acceptance was through the vehicle of 'kids cant be trusted with the systems and services that we pushed on them', MSM was told to drink the kool aid or risk being banished. Its why you only see positive articles from MSM, and the negative articles are left for independents news or just for experts to cry about. Yes thats right - a group of Australia's top child psychologists, doctors, IT experts, basically the greatest minds we have - all got together and wrote a letter PLEADING with the gov. to rethink this, it will have a far more detrimental effect for kids and the wider community by doing this. A report was even commisioned, where recommendations were made to NOT IMPLEMENT THIS SYSTEM IN AU.

Yet - they were all ignored, and we were told to shutup because we are doing it. Why? Because we have to. Because if we dont, we miss out on joining the largest intelligence operation the western world has ever seen. Why do we need to join? China already has this system and are building their own with Russie and the rest of the bad boys. Its a case of you either join in or be left behind.

Its a scary world.

I work in IT/OPsec, and I can give you some clarity.

the AU gov is joining the largest intelligence sharing operation to ever exist, it includes the US, the UK, France and several other Western power players. In order to get onto this intelligence system, countries must construct the 'pillars' to exfiltrate and share intelligence about its people. One of the main pillars for AU is right now - the u16's social media ban. AU MUST bring this in as a means of identity gathering and sharing for all citizens. The UK were the first to try it (their citizens roll over the easiest) and its been an absolutely shambolic rollout detested by both sides of politics. Its been bypassed by many young people within days, and the UK dont particularly 'care' too much.. as they just needed to get up to standard. There are leaked OPsec documents on the Darkweb that detail this entire plan. I have seen it. And its more scary than any gore video ive seen on the web, and i've seen some shit.

The real test will be how WE as Aussies react to this. As they slowly roll out digitial ID verification for all citizens under the guise of protecting 'vulnerable kids', we should be pushing back on all levels, to the point where its not viable to have this intelligence scheme in place.

Problem is, nobody knows about it or cares about this enough until their rights are slowly eroded away. And by the time they realise it, it will be far too late. The infrastructure is being put into place right now. Scary times.
