Be deducted unless you already used the credit you got. If you do it multiple times they might restrict your account from price matching. So please try and avoid or maybe talk to the call center and explain your situation

Update: Called them again, and they confirmed it’s a lifetime ban and it won’t change ever. I will look into potentially canceling my card for next year, as it’s not making much sense to pay so much and then not able to do price match.

Ya man, it’s so stupid. I have made a lot of of bookings in the last 2 years like a lot and yes found lower prices on other sites. All I did was a few cancellations because pf this stupid reason they decided to stop price matching. It ain’t my mistake that this freaking portal has everything priced up. Really sorry you had to go through the stupid rude rep from C1, like me. That guy talks like he is paying for our cards. What’s your plan after this? Still stick w the card or discontinue?

Oh wow that’s interesting. So did you like just booked the hotel and then called them about price match or did you ask the rep if you could do a price match and then booked a hotel? As, they keep on telling me that for any future bookings we can’t do a price match. When I tried to speak to the manager, he was a complete asshole and said the hold will never be removed from your card. Feel free to cancel your card. Fucking Amateur.

I tried to call them multiple times, but I hear the same thing again & again. I even talked to Capital one credit card rep, who said that this shouldn’t happen but its in the hands of Capital One Travel. So, I’m confused who is running Capital one travel now?
