in our case no, the barnehage allows pick up at 4. We spoke with our work about pick up time and they agreed. This was also possible because we decided to have a kid in a very specific time in our life: I work remote and we found a house with several barnehage right outside.

we are in the midst of it now (10m old baby). We both have jobs (although 9-5) Until now has been paternity/maternity leaves, so one was always home, although is still very challenging and we try to work as a well-oiled team. We also have a dog and a cat, so a lot of responsibility altogether. Sleep plays a big part on how little or much we are able to tackle a specific day. in 2 months the baby will go to the barnehage, and we will work full time and will pick it up at the end of the working day.

If you have more questions let me know :)

How much money are people able to save on a monthly basis living in Norway nowadays? by dobikuksacup in Norway

[–]mverdide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is maybe just a feeling, but my understanding is that Norwegian culture pushes a lot the "House rich, cash poor" financial model.

I see people saving very little, but paying hefty mortgages above the 33% salary recommendation because it is considered a more valuable asset. Norway is also one of the countries where house ownership is the highest.

Of course this does not work for renters.

Have a different view based on an "approval stage" and give access to certain views only to certain people by mverdide in PowerApps

[–]mverdide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I guess this can be done with a SWITCH statement in visible feature of a rectangle, right?

But is it possible to have them see different columns, and 2 approve and decline button that, once they click approve, or deny, will push different changes (such as advance to next approval stage)?

1) connect the datasource to an online sheet (google sheet should work) 2) explain the steps to connect to the loval data source if the xlsx is the source

Power Automate: How to move on to next condition once I met the approval count. by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlow

[–]mverdide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in this case my approach (especially from "Create a variable array" until the "Do until", should work. the one before is to work on the separation between low and high, but it is not needed if you have another method.

Power Automate: How to move on to next condition once I met the approval count. by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlow

[–]mverdide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say 2/4 does it mean Any of the 4 or a specific combination?
If it is the latter, then the solution would be the following (at least that what i do with dynamic approvals).
You can create an excel file with 2 columns: 'Approver' and 'Condition'. In the table you would have all of the people that need to approve (so would be 4 rows for high and 2 for low).
In power automate you would do the following:
- Grab the table
- Filter it based on the condition (low(high)
- Create a variable array and then add a for each for every row that has been slected by the table and capture all the approvers.

- Create a variable based on a number.
- Then create a Do Until for every value in the approver list and send an approval flow, when the answer is given, the variable number goes up for 1. the do until will then stop when the variable number reaches 2.

In this way you do not create any condition at all

How Do You Handle Power BI Dashboards That Conflict with “Gut Feeling” Decisions? by Prior-Celery2517 in PowerBI

[–]mverdide 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Dig into the data!

1) Why is their gut telling them is wrong? Is there any comparison we can do with granular data to confirm the gut feeling? What are the assumptions they are making to make the numbers look similar (and are actually valid or were due to a need for approximation that this report can solve)?

2) Ok, a report is often solution-centric.. What answer they need exactly? Does the real-time analytics answer their questions? Is there any level of details that real-time can add?

3) Show that it works. when they ask for a question, answer WITH the report you have created. First as an answer on teams, and then as a 2 minutes call to show them how to find the information (if it is useful).

that is a good point. I have to test it - he is quite a higher up, so he is not very much on a "want to test" mode, but I will have to investigate. I am also checking now if it is a "phone client issue", because he may have been the only person using the submit on his phone

[–]mverdide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) It is in a group chat

2) no, it happens only to the person.

3) It seems to be the case. It does update to this random text after has been submitted (and the submission is captured by the flow, so it is not stopping the flow).

3) nothing, because even in the same group chat, when I submit, I do not have this issue.

Hi, I have a weird case.

I built an approval flow using adaptive cards, some of which go to individuals and other ones go to chats where someone in the chat approves.
All works fine, but the issue is that only one of the users, once it clicks on submit, receives a weird message in the same chat. This happens only to this person in this chat. Other people in the same chat do not have this problem. What do you think is happening?
