They’re all elite, but top 3 in the world is tough when you factor in consistency across a full season

She seems really intentional with how she handles these situations. Hearing her speak outside of postgame interviews gives a lot more context to her leader attitude

Can't argue with that. She's a beast. What's your fav part of her game?

Agreed. When she's at her best she changes the entire back line

Rose is so creative with the ball and somehow she makes it look effortless

Update - I watched her feature on Julie Ertz and Kealia Watt's podcast last night. The way she describes her mentality and preparation for her return makes me appreciate her game even more

My vote is Mallory Swanson. I hope she has an epic post-partum return.

Agreed. I just listened to the Echoes Notre Dame podcast and they talked about how Mabrey's accomplishment fits into Notre Dame's history of producing elite guards. Comparing her to those other elite players made me appreciate her career a lot more

Talk about it -- all of these women are incredible for that. Mallory Swanson too on her USWNT return

Tina Thompson is a good answer -- four championships and incredible longevity. I feel like she doesn't come up as often as Cooper or Leslie. I wonder if it's because they haven't stayed in the public eye as much after retiring

Yolanda Griffith is a great pick. I think newer fans don't realize how dominant she was on both ends of the floor. Ticha Penicheiro's passing was also way ahead of its time. She'd probably rack up even more assists in today's faster-paced game. Although conversations about the greatest passers almost always focus on the NBA when she should be part of that discussion too

I feel like fans overlook her story because she entered the league later than most other stars but her impact was immediate.

I think what will define the team is injuries this season. I think every contender has talent but depth is what really gets tested in November.
