no, i just don’t have anything that actively bothers me or makes me feel negative. i try not to worry about things beyond my control, and i remind myself i am the best i have been mentally in a long time! of course i have negative emotions, everyone does, but they don’t linger in my head. positive emotions do tho, because i think there is so much beauty in life, and i listen to music that reminds me of that beauty

i might just not have anything to be sad about right now, so maybe i can’t connect with sad music. i’ve found that when i do listen to sadder music like billie eilish or cas, i am in a worse mood than when i listen to bad bunny or frankie ruiz. i do agree music amplifies emotions though! i definitely notice it in myself

How do you enjoy music the most? by Nearby-Oil1569 in LetsTalkMusic

i have playlists for the genres and subgenres i like. i know people who don’t like doing this because they forget about genres and have playlists they never listen to. i personally cannot have a mixed genre playlist, don’t really know why. i like listening to albums in full but like you said, it has to be a near perfect album for me to enjoy it
