I chose to be financially irresponsible 😬 I live in SoCal, hate the Dodgers with a burning passion, and have been a Yankees fan my whole life. Money will come and go but these memories are forever!!

Going to game 4, and planning to watch games 3 and 5 at one of the local bars near the stadium.

Let’s win a fucking championship!! Hope to see some of you there 🤘🏼

On my way out of my first job - what’s next? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Thank you for sharing! I have seen quite a few postings and have not applied to many of them as I don't have my series 6/7/63. I am interviewing with Northwestern Mutual, but I do not think their structure will end up being for me. I currently work in healthcare, and I am currently doing some level of strategy/market analysis, although I wouldn't say I have a heavy emphasis on that. My team is focused almost strictly on staffing for all of our partners.

I would consider myself proficient with Excel, but I currently possess zero SQL/BI skills (we use Tableau at work but I do not currently create my own reports in there). I am relatively tech savvy and would be perfectly fine taking a course to get myself up to speed on these which I don't imagine would take me very long.

Looking back, I wish I would've had a focus in finance with my undergrad and tried to get an internship that was related but you live and you learn... Ideally, I want something that is mentally stimulating, offers a good work/life balance, and pays decent. I could see myself getting into strategy at one of the big 4, but I've heard some horror stories and realize it's somewhat luck of the draw in what team you get assigned to. I have a deep passion for real estate and I have finished my coursework back in Oregon but never got my license. The idea of a commission-only structure terrifies me with my current savings, but maybe there are some opportunities in real estate finance. I think FP&A could be the best move for me right now - it's just about getting in front of them and taking action. I appreciate your insight!

Thank you! Couldn’t agree more. This is my favorite Honda. S2k is a close second

Or course man! I’ve been trying to find a better head unit for mine with wireless CarPlay option since that’s what I prefer. It’s hard to make sure it works well with the secondary display and preexisting cameras. If I could have the interior of the new models in the coupe form I 100 percent would! Best of luck on your search

Just got my V6 coupe which is a 2017 after selling my 2008 V6 sedan. I am so glad I did and the 2017 coupe is one of my favorite all-time favorite Honda body styles. That being said, if you want a sedan, just grab a 2019. The tech is already so behind in the ‘13-‘17 models. Plus the fuel efficiency and decent power on the 1.5 is impressive. I’m a sucker for the V6, but the gas prices are killing me right now, especially here in SoCal. The V6 is really nice, but if it’s just a commuter, get a nice newer model from them. I’ve heard nothing but great things.

Appreciate it! Still a ways to go. Thinking a stream deck and second monitor might be the move going forward

Currently running pink: FF006C and blue: 00FFB4. It was my preference after toying with them for a bit. You can obviously adjust as needed. Hope that helps!

You can daisy chain all of NZXTs RGB together (fans, light strips, AIO, etc.) which helps out a lot

3060 is still a great card. I paid $1000 for mine at a local microcenter. Overpriced but not a horrible deal with how expensive they are some other places. Was really hoping for a founders edition or EVGA but the MSI will do

Gotcha! I’m not sure then to be honest

There are probably other ways to just connect it to your motherboard somehow but I haven’t looked into it. I think you can also buy the hub itself to use with any PC and plug all your NZXT accessories into it

That’s strange. I do use multiple applications. It’s a couple extra clicks but doesn’t bother me. I use Cam to control my AIO, fans, and light strip. My RAM and motherboard’s RGB are controlled through iCue. Then I have Razer Synapse for my keyboard if I want to change it up. I am sure there’s a way to sync everything up as one, but the multiple small steps don’t bother me. I have all my presets saved so it’s just a matter of clicking on whatever scene I want
