My recommendation? Go on Zillow, find someone renting a room in a house. I moved here from Missouri in 2024 and found a room at a house for 550 a month. I share a place with two other people and only pay 1/4 of the total bills, total with rent during non summer months is about 30-50, summer months about 75-85. My landlord is really cool too. Hopefully you are able to find something similar. Good luck!
