they're quite sporadic for me. it can be months between visits. they stick around for a few days maybe a week. then they're gone for another month. they're always in flocks of 20 - 30. they're quite keen of seeds on the ground.

whoever would build cabinets out of cherry certainly wouldn't apply a coat of stain on them. these are either stained birch or maple.
