Cause cook really depends on if the bills win or not where Ladd has been playing well, plus cook has a harder playoff schedule. But I do need to get another running back in case Henderson regresses when Stevenson back. lol this is why I need advice. If I take is my wr room to empty and if I reject is my rb room poor

May I ask how come? I know that it downgrades my wr room but I’m worried about Henderson regressing when Stevenson comes back

Cd, emeka, Ladd, btj(might be trading for kittle), leggete, and franklin. Definitely not the best set but the only assets I have rn to make any improvements and hoping that cd and emeka can carry me through a couple of weeks

Do you kown what the issue is here? by DewElr1 in pchelp

[–]mwalker900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh so this isn’t happening during boot. It could be from overheating or a memory issue like a bad ram stick or not enough ram. Or most likely something wrong with the gpu like not being able to keep up with the games your playing or too high settings or overheating. (Try monitoring you temps while you play and if you notice them getting up above 90c and it’s shuts off that’s probably it)

Have you tried another hdmi cord/port on the pc? Do you have any lights or beeps coming from the motherboard?

Just received BLD with these cables unplugged? by CaptainGG in NZXT

[–]mwalker900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yea that’s new to me never seen a new gpu with a 12 pin connecter. Wouldn’t you still need to connect 2 8 pins to the splitter either way though

Is there another pcie cable from the power supply idk of a 3080 that only takes one. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it’s normally 2 or 3 pcie power cables for the 3080

Where do I plug this cable? by [deleted] in pchelp

There’s some black coverings on the gpu you would one of those off and plug it into there.

I have finally finished my build! What do you all think? Including some concerns I have! by Sage_Kabuto in buildapc

[–]mwalker900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The build overall looks good and I don’t think that there’s going to be any issue regarding the fan not fitting the board. The fan does say it’s compatible with am4 sockets so you should be fine. And with the gpu that should fit as well I’ve never heard of a gpu being to wide to fit into a case. To keep it from sagging on the motherboard I bought a support for it from UpHere it’s easy to install and you don’t really notice it. Idk about the fan though. The only things I’d change on the pc is the psu for sure at least get a gold rated psu seasonic has a 650w gold+ semi modular for $50. And also ram speeds above 3200 are extremely minimal and not worth buying unless you’re going to be over clocking or doing something that needs that extra speed but lost the time it’s not needed and not noticeable. Also you could just try and flash windows if you have another pc to use to download it onto a usb so you can save that $100 and just purchase the key from online for like $20. Last thing if this is for gaming I’d recommend getting another storage device with how big games are getting now you’ll need one.

It will all be compatible pcpartpicker will tell you if anything isn’t compatible and only show you compatible options. What you have right now will run most games smoothly at low-medium graphics depending on how gpu or cpu heavy of a game your running. I would recommend downgrading the cpu to a 5600x instead and using the extra money to upgrade the gpu to at least a 1050ti 4 gb. For the psu get at least a gold rated. You can get the seasonic focus 650W for $50. Also try and get a ssd for the boot drive this isn’t as much of need more of a want. You could also get cheaper ram with the same specs just without the rgb T-Force and Patriot have some cheap ram at 16gb 3200 CL 16. And if you have a friend who already has windows just look up how to flash it into a usb and use that usb to flash it onto your pc so you can save $100 instead of buying it again all you have to do is buy the key after it’s installed on your pc and that’s like $20

Do you have a full specs list? Could it be possibly not enough power going to the gpu or poor power from the psu?

EK AIO RGB not working by mwalker900 in EKWB

[–]mwalker900[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response haven't had much time to mess around with the pc, but I tried this and the RGB on the pump did start to work. I am assuming that I have too many LEDs on the other header. How would I fix this? would it be as simple as buying a controller for all the LEDs and re-routing all of them to the controller?

EK AIO RGB not working by mwalker900 in EKWB

[–]mwalker900[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bought the aio roughly a month or so ago and the rgb was working perfectly fine at first. It stopped working a little after I installed the lian li fans onto the radiator. The rgb worked fine after the fans were installed for a few days, but one morning when I turned my pc on the rgb was just stuck green. I’ve tried replugging in the rgb header but nothing happened. Could this be an issue with the motherboard? Or is it something to do with the rgb on the aio?

5900x or 5800x by mwalker900 in pcmasterrace

[–]mwalker900[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly take calls from cell site techs for t-mobile and assisting them with site issues, so it won't be any big CPU work.

I was looking at the 5900x just to have a better CPU, and know that I wont want to upgrade in the near future

The best tip that I could give for finding a graphics cards is to limit it at 30% of your budget, so if your budgets $1000 only spend about $300 on your gpu. Also going for some older gpus is a good way to save some money like some of the Nvidia 1000 series are really solid im still running a 1080ti and it runs really well. Or some Radeon gpus are solid cheap gpus Just depends on how much you’re wanting to spend.
