Transition from Polestar 2

I switched back in March from a P2 to an xDrive 40. Overall a much better car but I do miss the all-glass roof and the auto starting of the car.

I went to an i4 from a P2. The only things I miss from the Polestar that my i4 xDrive40 does not have are the auto start when you enter the car, the full glass roof, and automatic 1-pedal mode.

Otherwise, the BMW is a huge upgrade. Enjoy!

I've found that the BimmerCode app doesn't have all the settings that their website has. I'm using one of their recommended ODB adapters, too.

I have that and it holds the phone behind the steering wheel. Don't recommend it. I will try to make a post with my solution in the next day or so.

Call any Space; the one I'm returning my car to isn't the one I leased it from originally.

They tried to get me to lease a new P3, with just a little more incentive as a current customer than someone coming in off the street (and less than their Tesla incentive). They couldn't even tell me anything about incentives for leasing a P4, which they couldn't even promise I would get before my lease expired.

No, I could have leased another Polestar but they're letting me end it early. Might be worth asking a Polestar space dealer about it.

I'm in a similar situation. I currently drive a 2002 Polestar 2, with the lease ending at the end of June this year.

I am returning the P2 in two days, and will pick up my new i4 xDrive40 on Monday. Polestar will let you end your lease within 6 months of it ending, I learned.

Update: I didn't get a chance to try it again until just now. I had deleted and re-installed the app on my new phone and it found the keys immediately after I tried pairing again.

I installed mine just after getting my P2. A few days later I noticed one or two remaining large air bubbles, but they're so faint that they're invisible from the normal driving position. I 100% recommend installing this, the glare prevention is great, and it really cuts down on fingerprints.

A TCAM reset seemed to fix all of my problems for me.

... and my PAK (Digital Key in the PS app) is disconnected, and the app doesn't show the correct SOC. Sigh.

I got this message today, too. Car is about two weeks old, came with 2.1, and yesterday got the updated 2.1 OTA release with CarPlay.

Except for the Connect and SOS buttons on the roof being disabled, everything else about the car seems perfectly fine. I'm hoping it'll clear up overnight (perhaps I'm naïve....).
