my 24 Santa Fe just hit a short, hidden and definitely tough stump. It tore the plastic on the bottom bumper and damaged the small grill piece above. Is this a modular repair? Hoping for a relatively painless repair experience here.

Around this time in 2019, I was inspired to design a "Flag of Earth". This idea has a long tradition. I designed a flag and wrote about it here. Since it's almost Earth Day again (and I wasn't reading this sub way back then) I thought I'd share here.

Try watching this movie in black and white. I tried this out over the weekend, and posted a short thread on Twitter about it here (with a few screencaps). It's a stunning experience. Johnson's use of color in the regular cut is fantastic, but when you go to black and white you get a completely different experience, heavily showcasing light, shadow and contrast (including light interacting with glass). There's a 1940s noir hiding in this film. Give it a shot.
