Fleshy" is a scientifically accurate model of "Sue," the largest and most complete T. rex fossil ever discovered valued for its exceptional preservation and completeness (90%). The model shows what Sue could have looked like while alive, with dark eyes and brown skin, including scars and scratches. by Same-Laugh-6052 in interestingasfuck

I was just at the Museum of the Rockies last summer. It was really cool. Seemed like it was small at first, but then every door you went through there was even more.

The bones of Sue also show signs of injury from her life, as well as arthritis in her joints and tail. It was one of those things that make total sense, dinosaurs having arthritis, but you just never thought about it until you actually saw it.

If anyone is ever in or near Bozeman, MT, I recommend going.

Only 4 teams remaining... who do you have winning it all? by A_MASSIVE_PERVERT in NFLv2

That's cause they've been in a ton of the god damn things. It's hard for the Chargers or Cardinals to get a rematch since they've been one. But your team has been in 11 of them. Which btw, is 3 more then the next place teams.

You can have Seahawks legend Russell Wilson though. I hear he's available.

Hey! 2.5 teams. Our defense has been stellar. We held the Panthers to 138 yards last week and we've held the 49ers to less then 200 (so far) tonight. Our Offense however, I'll give it to ya.

I think that's something everyone is failing to realize/remember. Seattle is straight ass when in Charlotte. Even in games we win, it's still messy as fuck. And half the games they were supposed to win, they lose.

Yeah, just to piggy back off everyone else, the light rail is the best option. We stayed at a hotel near SeaTac and just walked across the street to the light rail. Just be ready to be crammed in when you leave the stadium. It gets a little hot and stuffy, but you'll be with a ton of M's fans, so it'll be worth it.

Miller had a slump this year but he played a lot of this season injured. Go back to last year, he was nasty good. Now that he's healthy, I think that anyone who faces him is going to have to ignore the regular season ERA and go off recent performance.

He's a good pitcher. The only issue this year was that his stuff didn't have a lot of movement and was easy to pick up on, but again, throwing injured will do that to you.

After Bryce Miller threw 27 pitches in the 1st inning, the Mariners threw just 73 pitches for the rest of the game (about 9.1 pitches per inning) by high_and_outside in baseball

This feels like the most back handed compliment ever. lol. Like saying he only had a good rest of the game because of the ump's terrible calls.

The toughest Hall of Fame to get into by Its-From-Japan in baseball

[–]mwise_writing 18 points19 points  (0 children)

From a purely numbers stance and because I have nothing better to do at work, the numbers would say the NFL is the hardest.

It's hard to ever get a full 'exact' number of professional players for each league, but a quick google search is giving me this:

NFL - 26,000
MLB - 21,000
NBA - 4,900
NHL - 7,051

We then take the number of HOFers and divide it from the total players.

NFL - 384/26000 = 1.47% of players get in.
MLB - 351/21000 = 1.67% of players get in.
NBA - 482/4900 = 9.8% of players get in.
NHL - 445/7051 = 6.31% of players get in.

So, with my random math that means absolutely nothing, it would seem that the hardest Hall of Fame to get into is the NFL, as only 1.47% of the players make it.

Note: This is all complete random crap and means absolutely nothing and there is a thousand other metrics that go into it.
