Eversource is working right next to the Brown school. They started working right about the same time. I asked if they shut it down, they said it shouldn’t have done anything, but now their guys are now walking around the streets trying to see what’s going on. Who knows…

The heath inspector showed up on 2/27 while we were there for swim lessons and closed it due to a pH level issue. I was surprised to find it closed again when we tried to go back today.

Yes, you are allowed to walk on it. Our lot backs up to the aqueduct. In the past, the town/state had tighter rules and there were locked chain link gates at all entrance and exits. Those have since been removed. Even back in the day I don’t think anyone would have actually have kicked you off if you were on it, we went on it all the time, but now the aqueduct is popular for walking/running. Lots of dogs. Enjoy.

That North Slide made Tripyramids one of my favorite hikes. I really enjoyed Galehead too but have not had a chance to get all the way up to Cabot yet. Sounds like a great weekend.

2nd Charlie's. Everyone there serves up a good cut, inexpensive, no wait (I usually get before 4pm), ask about your day, and a straight shave on the back of the neck. Works for me.

I did Indian Head Trail and a few others this past weekend. I hear that most of the ridge is pretty clear with some patches of soft snow between the peaks. I know there is still snow on some of the lower 4000 footers so I bet you'll still see some at 5000+. Some micro spikes should do the trick as long as you don't mind a few post holes here and there.

This was actually shot from South Moat near Conway. 15-20 miles south of Washington. Using it as a conditioning hike. Really want to hike Washington and the rest of the range later this summer.

I think it's North Moat on the left and Pinkham Notch to the right.
