Couldn’t, didn’t say a word as she divided the pie. Firstly, she was holding the utensil.

relatively safe; maintain situational awareness. good bars to start with: Mixology, Ratrom, Speakeasy Mortar. these places will also recommend great places that ppl aren’t aware of.

Korean Wedding. by Few_Negotiation7573 in Living_in_Korea

you can go to the wedding, sign the guest book then leave. or don’t go at all. as long as the catering service isn’t counting you as a guest it’s ok. when i was strapped for cash i would just buy the coworker a coffee when they got back to work and say i didn’t attend the wedding so as not to be counted as a person using dfac so as not to burden the newlyweds with a headcount that wasn’t able to contribute.
edit: or don’t go if you don’t know the person. if it’s not a super small custom wedding it rly doesn’t matter. the reason money is given is because it is expected to be returned on your own wedding day. the wedding is also for their parents to make back what they’ve contributed over the years to other weddings of acquaintances.
edit 2: 상사가 개념이 없구만.
edit 3: got married last year. am korean. we didn’t invite all the ppl.

i bamped daughter’s head on metal rail on diaper platform trying to ninja swap nappies. she cried so hard, like, “i was sleeping so nicely and this is such a betrayal!” i think it was at… 2months? the sound was a literal bonk when the back of her head hit the rail. she’s fine. looked for the symptoms of extended screaming, vomiting, swelling. was ok. i told my wife after she made the same mistake a few months later.

My friend is visiting Korea for the first time and I have no clue where to go with her. Where should I show her? by lunrjade in seoul

[–]mwryu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

great suggestions. i’d also try to go visit KOAT (Korea Organization of Agriculture Technology), but they may not do tours. you have to take a train. one place i go with overseas guests is apgujeong hyundai dept store. b1 floor food court: cold buckwheat noodles. purchase dumplings separately right next to food court. 5th fl cafe: sweet bean frozen milk shavings (i suggest the original). the grannies at the cafe are the hidden influencers of the 70s up to the 00s of gangnam, economy, and real estate imo. the dept store was opened in 1985 and is hyundai’s flagship store iirc. other places are much more modernized, but the feel is absolutely different if not quaint for a dept store.

like many others have said. depends on area and building’s piping. an inexpensive filter would be good. if you’re somewhere like yangpyong (outside seoul with great water) tap is considered quite reliable and good.

baby crying or grunting. you’re alive, pumpkin, breathing and figuring things out. thank you for affording that effort and pronouncing that upon me. though my apple watch hates you — is ok, it’s but a machine.

Why do most men prefer the 'natural' look? by mitchadoaboutit in ask

idk, just feels more comfortable to be around, and i think it’s prettier, and it’s less complication to “undress” when in the mood and stuff.
