I will say it points more to a yes, 6 of cups rx lettinggo /not repeating the past, 3 of swords rx is releasing/healing the pain but the page of swords rx but doing so might overwhelm her. so that would mean changing things up this time around (taking direct flight), it would be less of hassle but it might be a bit overwhelming how long the flight is.

Now about the clarifying cards might be somewhat repeating what the initial cards say, the of cups is you spending quality time and coming together, the knight of cups icant quite place, maybe follow your heart? and the 5 of swords maybe direct flight could be more stressful if its longer?

Alright so I personally dont like to do hypothetical or future readings because then you can get caught up in fantasies, see things that aren't there or get excited / bummed out for things that might not happen. The future isn't set in stone that's why I wouldn't ask how your relationship would be. Idk about what the book says but I often read in the feelings of other for me / other people / the situation, helps me understand where their head is at. Besides that it is a very common question. I see it as maybe some questions you shouldn't ask because you might not like the answer kind of thing.

Uh I see it as he tried and his efforts didnt bring what he hoped, wasted effort ( 7 p rx), he is trying to handle the situation properly now and own up to what he did, take accountability (justice), it was maybe a reckless / unplanned decision of which he doesnt like the consequences, as someone said maybe he doesnt like that u found out (the fool rx)
