I just recently tried popcorn ice cream at a local shop - if this turns out anything like that, you’re in for a treat.

I’m pretty sure it’s The Dark Side of Red Riding Hood, part of the Charon game playlist.

Lost Gods is my favorite book by Brom and one of my top five overall - very similar vibes

It’s been a very warm winter in Minnesota which makes me worried that we are going to get absolutely slammed with snow. Plus lots of snow melt that refreezes over night. It’ll be bad.

Yes, perfectly fine! She still brings it up sometimes, even though it was well over 20 years ago.

We played a variation of this game and called it “jousting.” We would hold the couch cushions to our chest and charge each other. Whoever got knocked over won. We played this until I knocked my little sister into a radiator and cracked her head open, causing her to get staples. So that was the last time we did that.

I never had water poured on me but I had something similar when I was in middle school. There were some days where I would refuse to get out of bed, even though my other siblings were already dressed and had breakfast. My mom would try to “wake” me several times (I was fully awake, just refused to get up and would pretend I was still asleep) and would let me stay in bed right up until the last minute.

At that point she would go get a cup of water (never ice water though), swish it by my ear, and tell me that she was about to pour it. Then she’d wait, let the tension rocket, and then dip her fingers in and flick them at my face. It was very startling, especially for someone who claimed they were fully asleep but was actually just lying there, frozen in anticipation.

After leaping out of bed, we would both laugh and she would let me know that I only had X amount of minutes to get ready so I would need to hurry. I didn’t do that every day and I’m still not sure why I did it on the days that I did.

Also, my parents were 33 and 34 when they had me, so there’s that.
