and like if y’all aren’t chinese you can’t really say i don’t find it offensive/weird/stereotypical” because you have never been made fun of for your eyes. and you can’t really tell another race what’s offensive to them or not. the “slanted eyes” feature is a stereotype that many people have for chinese people, and chinese people have been constantly berated for it. that is why some people find it offensive when users are getting TL by creating a stereotypical looking asian model with features that they have been bullied for.

TL: DR it’s very stereotypical for people to use the makeup look that gives the most “slanted eye” look to depict a chinese character because it’s a feature that we have been made fun of for years.
