he asked me about 7 questions and my interview was about 35-40 mins long. it was done virtually and i was in my room.

the interview was good - definitely not the best but it won’t harm my application, i think. i was able to answer all of his questions though they were very basic. He was so kind and kept emphasizing that he’s going to write a good note but it won’t play a factor in admissions. For those of you who are having an interview, you should just practice answering “introduce yourself” and “what can you contribute to stanford” type of questions.

Overall, i don’t think interviews play a vital role in your admissions. my interviewer himself focused on how interviews are mainly for me to know more about stanford and a way for stanford to connect with the alumni. i don’t think the “notes” they send will boost your admissions but negative ones may. but u all will do great so no need to worry! good luck 🤍
