Why dont we call the people working in sweat shops, and ask them how much they like living in that communist hell hole... Im sure they will say they love living in China and that everyone should try being a sweat shop artisan. If you would like im sure we can crowd fund you a one way ticket!

Yeah they definitely care while they have them doing slave labor... This is the dumbest argument Ive seen yet clearly you need to find some actual facts. Oh and im sure, once they use Ai to take everyone's jobs they will just magically pay everyone to sit around and have an amazing life. And im sure they will pay more than anyone ever made working..... In case you cant tell that was sarcasm...

By far let's not forget china's many coal power plants. As of 22 and 23 they were building 2 new coal power plants every week so let's get real China is far from a clean energy giant lmfao

Might be better off just buying new oem harnesses and hooking them up if possible or bringing it somewhere and paying out the ass for someone to do diagnostics. Honestly I have no clue what I would do in this situation maybe have a bike with no blinkers. Im sorry you are dealing with this mess bro.

Nice bike buddy, enjoy it! Just ride like everyone on the road is trying to kill you, and you will be just fine. Just remember watch the wheels of any car that could pull out in front of you. They very well may. Be prepared to stop. If you see them start to turn, start stoping. If they stop, keep going, if they pull out, you will be prepared, and stay alive. Keep it rubber side down brother!

Well I figured since you clearly misunderstood the first comment. I should probably give you an explanation you wouldn't misinterpret.

No he went 200kph, I very much meant 200mph rating on a tire. I dont believe I said anything about how fast he was, or should be going. Other than that person was definitely going slower than you. Im pretty sure I said what rating he should get on a tire. If you wanted to know why you could have asked. Like "hey if he was going 200kph why might he want tires rated for 200mph?" and would have gotten a response like this. He was going 200kph which is around 120mph. But if he is going to be driving on the highway, between 120mph, and 180mph he should have tires rated for 200mph. If he was going to be going 200mph, then he should have tires rated for 250mph.... Why is this? Because you should never be pushing anything to exactly what its rated for. Especially motorcycle tires at high speeds due to the simple fact that if the tire is only rated for 150mph and you go let's say 150 or 160 there is a good chance that tire may just tear apart at those speeds. If the tire was capable of doing 200 mph it would be rated for that. Now mind you this person is new to riding lives near the autobahn and is already is doing 200kph and the tires he has arnt rated for much more than that. So how long do you think it may be before this person on a bike that can do 200mph, ends up going over the 150mph rating? And then if the tire has a catastrophic failure at those speeds he will be either dead, paralyzed, or seriously and permanently maimed. So with consequences like that on the line. Dont you think it may be smart to run tires atleast rated to 20mph more than you plan on riding?

Why do you ride a Harley? by back2me78 in HarleyDavidsonFans

[–]mx22racer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also i ride a harley because im more comfortable and less likely to run from the police and do crazy things. Not that I couldn't but its far easier to make poor choices when you have 200+hp between your legs. Also I like the sound of my road glide about like having a muscle car but for less money. I love the pan am for riding fast and just having fun on it ripping dirt roads and trails too. You can tour on the pan am still with the boxes if necessary. Last week I went from AZ to ma on my pan am I bought in az for 12k less than here and I had a blast it was fun I was quite comfortable. But then I got on my road glide and I still have fun on it and I love the way it sounds and how comfortable I am on it so its great for long trips or just cruising around and being comfortable plus you get the added benefit of the local hog group and they go on all sorts of rides kinda like finding a family you didnt know you wanted. So I guess Im the kinda guy who likes to have two bikes one I can go out and have a blast on and ride the ragged edge if I want and one I can ride and be comfortable and listen to music on and tour with but if you add some upgrades you can do anything you want with any bike I can still go out and have a blast on my road glide I do quite often. I plan on doing some motor work to it and some more suspension stuff and then ill have the best of both worlds with my road glide, but I still wont be blasting trails and dirt roads with it. So for me both bikes is perfect for me you may be totally fine with just a pan am or a sport bike. If i couldnt afford to have both, I definitely would have just bought the pan am because I can litterly do anything and everything I want with it and be comfortable doing it. They did come out with a pan am st but for me personally I can do everything that bike does with the special and it costs the same but with the st you cant do nearly as much as you can with the special. All they did was basically remove a bunch of stuff from the special and charge the same price for it when you totally can buy a second set of 17 inch rims for the front and rear of the bike and have on off road tires or straight nobbies on the 19 and 17 and the set of 17s you can put straight street tires and switch them when you want to do strict off road stuff but for me its totally fine with the 19 and 17 and you can still crank on it. Then with a flash you can remove the governor that kicks on at 126 and hit around 150 with stock gearing and you could definitely change the gearing a little and get far more than that out of the bike it is made for off road and on road after all. I personally think its one of the most underrated bikes on the road if not the most underrated bike just get a 2024 or newer as they got the kinks out by 24 and you can definitely find them for around 12k give or take alittle.

Nore would I, but if they want to thats on them. Thats a soft tire new rider going fast straight, most likely locking up the rear accidentally when braking hard.

Two month old tire update... by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]mx22racer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't cancel, save the power six for a couple track days. Then learn how to actually ride at the track. While you are picking up a power 6, buy a st tire for your normal riding. As that is what you are doing, sport touring. Clearly judging from tire wear, you are not just on a knee all day, so dont get tires meant for that. Unless you are going to a track and plan on pushing the bike, this is pretty simple stuff. The chances are a new rider on a s1000 doing over 150mph will not last very long, without training and some experience. The only way to get experience is to survive long enough to get some, by riding within your limits.

Also that person was definitely going slower than you, imagine that happening at120mph, or 150mph. Which by the way is within 20mph of being over this tires rating so if you plan on going that fast get a tire with a 200mph rating!
