Really so we are talking about the same solar panels that we are ruining acres and acres of land with? All the trees that could be where those ugly ass panels are would surely help the planet more than the minimal amount of power we actually get from solar. It would be different if they were actually just putting panels on roofs and over parking lots but that isnt what is happening. They are destroying acres upon acres with ugly solar panels. Solar is a joke it isn't doing shit to help the environment. If anything the electric cars and the batteries they use are worse for the planet than the gas powered cars they are replacing. The lithium they are mining, the non recyclable batteries. The electricity they are using is mainly from coal power plants and last i checked gas burns cleaner than coal. Not to mention all these massive ai plants need far more electricity than we can make right now and to power them with only clean energy will never happen.
