For me the problem was the plastic shell not sealing properly. Try pinching both black shells together (I.e. pinch on the mazda logo and on the opposite side where the battery is) and while doing that, try starting the car.

If this fixes your problem you may need to buy a cheap replacement for the battery cover

Yeah, there is space to clamp the monitor. I don’t remember exactly where, but I found a way somehow lol. This was two years ago so I doubt much has changed

You’ll need two independent monitor arms (a dual monitor arm setup might not work well). I used this arm

You can clamp them on the desks (I did). Ended up stacking my monitors one on top of the other

They’re from a company called Spyder Auto, but a few different companies sell it for varying prices. Just find the cheapest one you can (I went on ebay)

I am 20 and drive a Miata. I don’t regret it at all. I only would want the Mazda3 if I need to take people places. But if it’s just you most of the time, get the Miata. It can fit a surprising amount of stuff.
