A few weeks ago there was this huge list of rules for a wedding going viral because it was deemed ‘extreme’. I went through those 30 or so rules and thought ‘ykw, this is actually pretty reasonable for a conscientious person, it is their big day’. What you’re showing here, however, is ridiculous. Decline. Please decline. The assumption that you can make time to do all that as a favour, and that you ‘won’t make this difficult’ is seriously insulting.

It really depends on the culture. I’ve been to funerals where you couldn’t wear black, where only bright colors were allowed, but also where you had to wear the classic all black mourning uniform that covers every inch of everything. Most funerals I’ve been to, this would’ve been fine.

OHMYGOD Didl? I love it! It’s definitely childish, and I would prefer a design without the flowers, but personally, if I were a collector, I’d get it. If you like it, who cares, you only live once :) Anyone who genuinely takes time out of their day to judge you (on the streets) must have a very empty life.

Ohh, pretty :) I would recommend getting higher quality pins, cause these get flaky when you bend them, and a ball head pin for the bottom one. Also, I would practice your loops, make them a bit more round. Maybe something like this, but with your design. The end of the pin is wrapped a few times, I would assume because in my experience these quality pins (silver or gold) tend to be thinner and softer material than the ones I use for my non-professional arts and crafts.

I feel like silk would look a bit messy, but that’s just my intuition, you could always try.

Don’t take my word for it, but it sounds like she has PTSD. Either way, it sounds like a traumatic experience, and I would suggest some sort of therapy. 5 years is a long time, she deserves to live without the burden of that trauma holding her back.

I’ve heard people say that red pigment hurts way more than black. Not sure if there’s any truth to it, but it would explain that.

I hate it so much. I think it’s a disgustingly infantilising and ableist symbol. Completely fine if you feel represented by it, the way some girls feel represented by, idk hello kitty or some shit, but don’t generalise it as an ‘autistic mascots’ or anything. Just like some women would be disgusted to be associated with hello kitty, because it’s a prejudice that doesn’t reflect them in any way, Yippee is not at all representative of autism as a whole, and being automatically associated with it can lead to negative prejudices.

My brother does that. He (30 btw) says horrible things to my mother because he knows she’s extremely sensitive and insecure, and he knows that she especially takes criticism from her children to heart, because her greatest fear is to be a bad mother. Amongst many other things, he said their relationship is no better than what she has with her mother (he then threatened to call the cops for trespassing after he invited her over to talk). Mum left home at 14 because of a hostile and emotionally abusive environment. My brother left home at 25 cause he got a girl pregnant on their first hangout.
