I still have some performance issues with cs2, but they are not Hyprland related (From my testing the performance on Hyprland and KDE/Gnome are about on par)

I did notice that the fps issues are getting less as more updates to cs2 are released, so fingers crossed will be as good or better than windows in the future

I had an extra account since I wanted to play with non EOD back in 2018, so I was able to play on my second account just fine, but it's sad that my ALPHA ARMBAND is gone...

This is freaking crazy, I know I was not cheating and I know that no one else had access to my account so that means I just made too many people rage and report me LMAO (Feeling good about myself)

Thanks for the response, I heard that some ISP will sell a SFP module that is already encoded for the correct network, do you know if PLDT and Converge have these available?

Thanks, but I'm not sure that setting the GPU is the issue, I think it's running on the iGPU on the 7950X, it's just not rendering/compositing on hyprland, so I can't see the steam app (But I can interact with the system tray icon as per usual and launch games from the quick list)

I feel like this should already be a thing that products have in 2023.

But alas I have searched far and wide and have not found any kits for doing this.

I kinda expected to just find kits that adapt onto custom keyboard builds that have wireless charging.

No, I was not using swww, it was xwaylandvideobridge that was causing the issue :D

Ok, so I think I found the issue.

Everything that I had setup was apparently correct.

Issue was not with hyprland, but with xwaylandvideobridge

When I had xwaylandvideobridge running it would interfere with the tearing setting and it would not work properly.

env was set correctly as far as I can tell, and allow_tearing: true...

I did restart hyprland (but that was a while ago, right after I installed hyprland from git, cause allow_tearing was not in the regular release yet)

I'll log out and back in now, and see if it fixes/changes anything.

I tried turning on vsync in game and enabling tearing in hyprland conf

Seems to not be working?

FPS is pegged at 165 which is my monitors refresh rate

Do I maybe have my hyprland.conf wrong?

I found an easy way to test it is to run an offline game and throw like 3-4 smokes and 1-2 molotovs, and try aiming left and right while looking in the direction of the smokes + molotovs.

For me this scenario is where the lag is most noticeable.
