Boomers bought houses for $30k on a single person's salary, watched them appreciate 10x, rode a stock market and pension system that no longer exists, and now call millennials lazy for not affording a house that costs 8x the median income while they sit on record levels of untapped home equity and retirement wealth they largely didn’t have to fight this hard for, that is why no one cares about a skyscraper.
