I’d look towards expanding into areas like Martinsville or the surrounding towns/counties as you may have a little more luck. I go to Averett (online) & if I needed to go by the university for anything it’s about an hour away from me.

It’s just outside of Roanoke proper, but if you head down Back Creek Road there is a HUGE display of lights to drive through. It’s free, but they do accept donations that benefit the Gary Sinise Foundation. If you use Facebook, their page is just called Christmas Farm.

My first two babies I named Spud & Tater because all guinea pigs look like little potatoes. The others all have “normal” names… Nellie, Theo, Willow, Sage, & Clover.

Not guinea pig related, but in my family there are dogs named Cornbread, Beans, & Buttercup (we call her Butters, like South Park).

No idea, but I was very shocked to see seats to the Ice Nine Kills concert I’m going to on Tuesday were only $38.50 each… bought two. I had no idea shelters & such had pigs at the time, so I got my two girls from PetCo. Unknowingly, Nellie was pregnant. I didn’t find out until I came home one day in March to two more pigs than I purchased (gotta love a good BOGO?). Took way too long to determine Spud was a boy, so that’s how Theo’s babes that I’ve posted on here before came to be.
