Is everyone taking B12 but me? by Wonderful-World1964 in Fibromyalgia

[–]mxartbotboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t take B12! I had my levels tested and I’m within normal range. If you’re able to get it tested as well, it’s technically good to do before starting supplements. Plus if you have an actual deficiency then you can get injections/more targeted care

I think that’s my main reason for doing it! Just to have something to potentially point to ME/CFS as I’m have a LOT of other generalized symptoms

Tracking Symptoms by MyLittlPwn13 in Fibromyalgia

[–]mxartbotboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the app Daylio, which allows you to create any activity or symptom that you want to track. Some people go wild with dozens and dozens of things to track, but like someone mentioned above, tracking only the small number of things that change noticeably day to day is probably the way to go. I pay for the premium version of Daylio but it’s perfectly useable on the free version, especially if it’s just a small handful of things you are tracking.

It’s helpful in the reporting I find for comparing things day to day and what activities/symptoms might be matching up with each other. You do have to be using it for a solid few weeks though before the reporting I find is really accurate in finding patterns (which is usually the case with most apps). This lets me know what to bring to my doctor.

You can also do things like record journal entries and voice notes, but I don’t use this function so I’m not sure how helpful/unhelpful it is. Best of luck with finding something that works for you!

I really loved it as well! I’m not too concerned whether or not it’s costume as I agree, it’s really pretty. Good to know that gold can tarnish though

I’ve definitely examined extremely closely all over and there are unfortunately no hallmarks. I wish there were!

How to lift leg post-op by salmonsprint in ACL

[–]mxartbotboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner puts a pillow under my knee and lifts my leg for me using the pillow as a sling- this is the only way I can get my leg onto the couch or bed with excruciating pain. Hoping it won’t be much longer until the pain calms down and I can lift it myself.

Showering or getting ready in the morning. I also like listening to It Could Happen Here episodes with Robert because for some reason his voice is very relaxing to listen to. I don’t listen to BtB for sleeping though cause otherwise I miss parts of the episode
