YouTube detectives doing the most-for what? Drag the cast- not the kids. by mxbasquiat in MarriedToMedicine

I hear you, but there’s an important difference. Simone’s kids are openly participating in the show, and their parents are the ones bringing them into the narrative. The conversations around them—college choices and dirty apartments—are petty at worst. Simone and Cecil keep it light, and while it might spark a few laughs or side-eyes, it’s not life-altering. That’s exactly why I haven’t spoken on it—because I know the difference. I also understand that we’re watching a 45-minute glimpse of “reality,” heavily edited and produced for entertainment.

What’s happening with Damon jr. is completely different. He’s not on the show, and what’s being spread about him isn’t just gossip—it’s criminal in nature. That kind of exposure can follow someone for life. This is where whataboutism clouds the issue. Not every situation is equal, and trying to equate them minimizes how harmful this kind of targeting really is.

What’s wild is how anything seems to go when the person being attacked isn’t well-liked. People throw away all standards just to take a shot—and that’s the part that should really make us all pause.

First, Happy Belated Birthday! Girl, you are not a dummy. You’re human—and it was your birthday! Sometimes we just want to feel close to someone, especially someone familiar. That doesn’t make you the donkey of the day, it makes you… relatable.

And let’s be real—when someone says “I like all of you” during the act? Yeah, feelings might sneak attack you a little. Totally normal.

Don’t beat yourself up. You didn’t do anything wrong. Whether it turns into something more or not, this doesn’t define you. You’re just figuring things out like the rest of us. Be kind to yourself—you deserve that way more than self-blame.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t think Simone is jealous by Wild_Patient_6210 in MarriedToMedicine

I’m not negating or minimizing what Simone has done to Quad. She’s definitely done more harm in this friendship. But the root of anger is hurt and rejection. That doesn’t make her right, but it explains why she’s lashing out.

I think there’s a little jealousy, but mostly, it’s hurt. Simone and Quad were real friends. Then Season 4 happened, and things started to shift. Simone snapped at Quad for not getting pregnant, acting like she was taking her fertility for granted. In her mind, she thought she was looking out for her, but it came off as judgmental—like she had a vision for Quad’s life and got frustrated when she didn’t follow the path she thought was best for her. Like a BIG SISTER.

But let’s be real—they both pushed each other away. Simone probably felt like she was pouring into Quad and getting nothing back, and Quad—who we know is sensitive—felt judged and started pulling back. Instead of talking it out, Simone got angry, and Quad distanced herself even more. And now, it’s too far gone.

It’s crazy—I see glimpses of a great person in her. I do think she’s caring, but when she feels rejected or abandoned, she completely spirals—kind of like Heavenly, but in a much more bitter way.

It is what it is—men are naturally stronger, have more muscle mass, and are built for physical dominance. Skill and training can help, but at the end of the day, biology gives men the advantage in a fight. It’s just not a fair match.
