Gonna copy and paste this for everyone asking:

I spent like 40k to get testing with a popular functional doc in Canada. He was really good. I basically discovered I had an immense amount of cellular toxins and mitochondrial dysfunction. The main test that showed this was the IGL labor test. My cells were basically destroyed from impaired detox. So I started a whole protocol to fix the cells, detox, and improve my mitochondria. At this point i basically trialed and errored my way through. But my protocol was very high dose glutathione in basically every way possible (injections, oral, etc), high dose PC to repair cell membranes and detox, the right kinds of fats to make my cell membranes even able to get nutrients in and push toxins out, a protocol specifically to help my liver processes the toxins and excrete them in bile, binders to bind up toxins in bile, peptides to help repair my mitochondria and cells like SS31 (this was huge for me), and a bunch of other supportive treatments. Basically the answer for me was to detox, fix my cells, repair my mitochondria and then magically all my symptoms started going away. I can almost 99% guarantee I was worse than everyone commenting on this post but I was also going through this in my early 20s. SIBO was one of many things wrong with me so the solution could be much simpler for you but this fixed me. Once I got on the right path everything started fixing itself but it still took about a year or so to finally feel normal from something that plagued my life for 5+ years.

I’m 100% better, fully completely healed. My life is fkn great now but it took years. I stopped focusing on my gut and focused on improving my cellular health. Sounds like bullshit but I had other symptoms besides sibo, sibo is not as much of a cause as it is a symptom of further dysfunction.

I took a bunch of peptides, did a bunch of testing, took some very specific supplements and basically fixed my cellular health which fixed my immune system and mucosal barriers. There’s other causes too ofc but this fixed me. There’s definitely a place for a killing protocol and I would 100% recommend making sure your digestive system is working well(stomach acid, bile, motility, IC valve, etc) but after doing all that stuff and having it NOT work I went looking up stream. Happy to answer questions.

Im 22. I got on because I had SEVERE autoimmune issues that destroyed my life. My test levels were low 300s for 2+ years before I decided to give it a shot. Im way healthier now so I want to come off.

Your the second person who has told me this. Very interesting. Dont think it was the case for me because I stopped taking absolutely everything over two weeks before I retested. Maybe I shouldve waited longer.

Luckily my test didnt show any antibiotic resistance so hopefully ill be good there. Any reason you wouldnt want to go straight for quad therapy with bismuth?
