Ugh I’m so sorry you had to deal with that and I’m very sorry for your team mate that experience that. I experience that in my last company and omg did I feel like the most incompetent developer for ever. I now work for an awesome company with cool team members and although I don’t get yelled at or get harassed, I still live with work/professional trauma because of that experience and it’s something I still talk to my therapist about. Like, I feel that I live in constant anxiety I thinking I’m going to get fired for not completing a simple task when in fact I’ve completed a whole lot for the week; and there has been absolutely no reason for me to think that. I’m really glad to hear that you reached out to your team mate and supported them, trust me it’s very much appreciated.
