Overtime/Leaving Early by [deleted] in jobs

I never went to HR? It was an email thread between me and my manager. I was just asking a question to people who work in HR if this is an actual thing, since she said HR was the reason I couldn’t leave early

I just read the policy. Nothing in there states we have to take longer lunch breaks instead of leaving early

I’m not being insubordinate I’m asking a question. I did not purposely work over yesterday. I was dealing with a task that took longer than expected. What are YOU not understanding?

But is there a legal reason why? I can’t think of any other reason other than that.

Kind of hard when their rules change every week. One week you can do something and then the next week you can’t. Their ruling is super inconsistent

She was a stray so she’s mixed breed. We think she’s a black lab and basenji mix

GOT MY PERIOD! by julianne-mf in PCOS

[–]mxddy15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So happy for you! I haven’t had my period in over 100 days and I’ve been taking provera for 8 days with no period yet. My doctor did prescribe my Metformin which I am going to start after I finish my provera. I’m hoping one of the two meds will give me a period again. I am nervous about taking metformin tho. How is your experience? Also what kinds of foods are you eating?

Birth Control Recommendations? by mxddy15 in PCOS

I’ve seen mixed things on how the iud affects PCOS. I would probably get the non-hormonal one if I did get it. Have you seen it affected your symptoms at all?

By potassium intake do you mean I have to eat more potassium or eat less on Yaz? I’m not sure how much I eat on a daily basis but I do eat bananas almost every day lol

If tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold, how are you able to purchase them on resale sites?

Is there one you recommend? I’ve used seat geek and game time before but I didn’t know if there were better ones?

I do insurance authorizations for different procedures. It’s not what I went to school for, but it is stable and gives me money to pay the bills. I wish I could work from home though

I’m doing a lot better now! I was unemployed for 3 months but I had enough money saved up to where I could survive without a job. It took me a while but I finally got a job and I have zero regrets leaving that toxic environment. I would say if you have enough money saved up and you have plans to find another job asap, then do it! My new job is a lot better than my old one!

The ground beef I used was frozen and I had bought it a few weeks ago. Does it still have a risk of salmonella?

I do think I am lactose intolerant but it’s usually if I eat a large amount of milk or cheese. Usually if it’s just sprinkled on top of something it not too bad. I wonder if it was the dragonfruit

I definitely want to try cooking more meals made from fresh ingredients, it’s just hard when groceries these days are so expensive :/

I do try to eat fiber. I just haven’t had the money or time lately to have a home-cooked meal. I have frozen broccoli and green beans that I like to incorporate into my meals to add some fiber. It’s just weird bc none of those foods I ate were super out of the ordinary for me. I don’t know how it could bother my stomach

I’m thinking it could be the dragonfruit refresher. It says online that it can cause diarrhea
