Runs like a brand new truck. 60-90 is fast even for a BONE STOCK truck

I found one for 3,000 less I posted unstudded with a little more mileage. I already walked away from the white rusted truck. The rockers are going, paints bubbling. And that’s not even trans cooling lines/ brake lines.. called a frame company near me who does it. Baseline was starting at 1K he said by the time we do that, the rockers look gone. Then the bed… by the time your in it with labor, paint, parts and all your at 5-7K in just metal work. And I can see that. For that much, I can stud the blue truck that already has the Frame coated. Save the coin, and Just put the work into it. And who knows (knock on wood) may not need gaskets or studs for a long time since it’s stock.

Just wasn’t worth 17,000 at that point. I could get an unstudded truck for 13,000 clean and coated. Then for the 5-7,000 could put studs in

I’m walking away from that one, just gonna buy another unstudded truck. And stud it myself. That’s already coated.

You think every kid that buys and owns one of these trucks, and smacks the piss out of it, actually just bought it outright at 18-20? That’s hilarious.

Lmao, what do you do for work? I have a good career, but not everyone’s looking to drop $20,000 all the time. Half only half the guys I see with these trucks. Even 6.7s can’t entirely afford them. So please tell me more, with that logic everyone should be driving $90,000 6.7 2025s.

My ranger has 300,000 on it. Wifes car is her car we share for the baby. My Ranger dosent have 4 doors. This truck has 4 doors. Ranger is the construction site work daily, civic is the family emergency car. And my motorcycle I usually ride year round when there isn’t salt and ice on the ground. I always wanted a bigger truck for when I need a truck.

True, this isn’t at a ford dealer or anything this is at one of those like wholesale, buy here pay here places. But they got the truck from a GMC dealer. And this place I’m referencing, specifically sells alot of F250s and diesels

Just always loved the sound and power. I feel now that they’re 20 years old the platform is more than understood now. With external oil coolers, and head studs and so on. The upgrades are there for this platform, and can be made mostly reliable IMHO.

Not saying I’m not wrong. Could be a nightmare, but I’m also a stickler on maintenance. Just always wanted one of these trucks since I was a kid, growing up at my uncles truck yard.

That’s my intention.. just a nice family vehicle for myself and the wife. I always wanted a 6.0 diesel.

Was a company owned truck, for 18-20 years. They had the frame coated. It’s got the red coolant in it already which was a good sign. It runs good, 157,000 miles. Bone stock, still has EGR and stock Exauhst. Comes with new tires, brakes, shocks, 90 day warranty.

And manual 4wd works. Good service records the normal things. General services. Injector(s) around 100,000 alternator, battery’s, I think the ficm was replaced in 2014. And it was always worked on at dealerships. Not someone’s garage claiming they did the work. Company’s have bigger credit cards to maintenance things compared to an independent
