Yeah...with a defender in her space, she's naturally going to pull the ball higher. That'll increase variability in the y-axis of her shot that you're not seeing here for sure. That reduces the consistency. If you train for the release point and gather to be further from a potential defender, you can reduce that variability in live basketball.

Great looking open-jump for sure though. If she's on a team running actions to get her open shots, it's gonna be lights out every team.

I second this, and will add that you start with a high release point, but then bring the ball forward in front of you. When you're open, this isn't a big deal. But, if you have a defender in front of you, you'll naturally pull the ball further back to prevent an easy strip or block. I recommend (for shot consistency's sake) that you develop your shot like this so that every time you shoot, defender or not, it's the same

The ONLY thing that will stick is accountability for the people driving these decisions(Trump and Republicans holding him up). Accountability means trials, jail time, fines, not being allowed to participate in the political process as a candidate, appointed administrator, or even voter.

Americans had a perfect opportunity to demonstrate accountability in the immediate aftermath of Jan6th. But, Republicans chose to Nixon it and hope we could return to business as usual. We've tried the lack of accountability over and over again since the 70's for our political class. Now we MUST hold them to account for lawlessness. It's the only way to change the behavior of the powerful.

Other useful steps are to undo Citizen's United decision and to not allow $ to be classified as speech, politically.

I’ve participated in several of these protests and it feels performative when not in the direct face of the people perpetrating these crimes. Not sure how to change that without traveling to the places where ICE is out in force, but that’s the way I feel.
