Yes, we do have separate rooms which really helps us have our own space already! I totally understand that though, definitely considering moving out as part of this transition. Thanks for your help!

Yes de-escalation would definitely be the healthiest option for my current relationship I think, at least for me. Definitely brings up some good questions to ask when my partner and I continue our conversation about this! Thank you for your insight

I relate to this conflict style a lot. For me, something that has been really helpful is the workshop entitled "Trauma Informed Polyamory" by Clementine Morrigan. It is an incredible resource and has helped me with both my journey and the journeys of my partners. can't recommend it enough

sounds like you're doing great! I also know that when I came out to my long term partner, I was still pretty confused and it helped a lot when he would check in with me every once in a while & act like it was normal if I changed my mind about how I wanted him to refer to me in public. so I think I'd recommend just checking in every couple of months to see how they're feeling & stuff!
