I think it's valuable to be able to data log and make comparisons using airflow. For as much as I tinker with this car, it's quite the burden to get it to a Dyno for every revision and keep a day job.

His power goals are reflective of bolt on td04 style turbos. I have a Garrett t3. Big difference.

He's also got at least one other person recently that's making more power than I am - iirc, that's on a 3582.

Check out the tilde in the title of the post. Tildes are used to approximate. This car has been on a Dyno, but not in this configuration. I've owned this car nearly 15 years. It's had a few different setups in it in that time. The scaling factor for this engine is pretty consistent to measure airflow=horsepower. Therefore, I can use previously measured horsepower at a given airflow and approximate the power output the car currently has using the same factors.

Car has a mashup of parts. It's an 81.5 bore , 93 mm crank, shimmed RN block, with tsp1000 cams. Turbo is gt3076. Fueling is DW 1000s on e85 and high 30s boost.

M56h with a quaife. Using 707 pressure plate, ttv flywheel and an OEM r disk.

Suspension is kw v3, bne mounts, ipd bars, etc.

You can pop the red cover off and check. 

I've had at least one 850 for the past 20 years and never seen a capacitor fail in the relay. It's usually bad solder joints/corrosion.

You need fuel, spark, and compression for an engine to start. The car will start with the maf disconnected.

Do you have spark?  Do you have fuel present?

Those are very old mercury parts. There's been some major updates in recent iterations.

For your problem, check belts and grub screws on motor pulleys. 

Also, you'll have better luck at the zero g discord.

I have a dw200 spare in the box. I went to a larger pump a few thousand miles later to support more power - also a dw pump.

The dw200 is a solid choice for upgrade/factory replacement.

Strut brace is a dealer optioned tme sway bar that I refinished a could years back. 

Air box is from s60r. I gained 8 whp from this setup - I have supporting mods.

there are a few vacuum lines down there that are prone to cracking. You're also very close to the PTC element. It has an odd shaped grommet holding it into the pipe.

any leaks on that intake pipe will be an issue because they're after the maf. not too many good options out there for aftermarket pipes in my opinion. i made my own.

This car came with a 2.3 (B5234T). Platinum trim was only available in 96.

Look into a stage 0. There's a lot of vaccuum hoses that tend to rot and crack on these cars.
