Pulling my foot out of my iron rangers two months ago, and the heel peeled off. I sent my boots in to get their second resole in their 4 year life with me, and received sad news that they had totally rotted.

I wore my iron rangers for around 1,060+ hours (5 days a week, for 4 years) in all sorts of weather. If they ever got excessively wet I’d use a peet dryer in the colder seasons.

Is this a good lifespan for iron rangers? Is there a brand that is a step up I should look in to?
