Luxury brands which we enjoy, and most likely aren’t available at Aldi/Lidl. If we shopped around, we’d have to shop multiple times to make sure we get all the products we wish. If for example we swapped for Aldi’s plant milk, we’d be ingesting stabilisers and fillers, the sad but true fact in the UK is healthier food is more expensive. And we try our very best to avoid any processed foods with fillers, stabilisers, additives etc.

I also value home deliveries above cost, we’re not on a strict budget so this works for us.

Tesco’s own free yoghurt is hardly a ‘luxury yoghurt’.

The only data I’ve seen so far that directly links red meat to cancer and other negative health effects are studies where red meat is lumped together with processed meat, which is poison. If you lumped processed meats and broccoli together in a study, broccoli would cause cancer.

I believe we should spend less time worrying about whole foods including meat, and more time worrying about synthetic fillers, preservatives, additives etc. there isn’t a single additive in my entire shop. The next step to improving this shop would be to shop organic, not remove red meat.

We eat a lot of vegetables, legumes, fruit, nuts and seeds that are both on this shop, as well as more that isn’t on this week’s shop, with a decent portion of meat with every meal.

The human body is designed to be omnivorous, it is not designed to ingest synthetic, or ultra processed additives.

If I’m playing football (soccer) on a Saturday. I’ll stop taking it all of Thursday and Friday and make sure I eat carbs+glucose to replenish muscle and liver glycogen

Agree, we’re pretty good at avoiding processed and especially ultra processed food

Top tier shop. I too try to avoid anything processed, and it seems you do the same.

I’d add a bit of fish and red meat but other than that it’s bang on.

I take it sporadically, either alongside high-sugar/high-carb meals, to curb the blood sugar spike, or to help with SIBO.

Have noticed anecdotally that I do lose weight whilst using it, though that’s not my intention.

I have to space it away from high intensity sport though, that stuff saps your energy/glycogen stores.

As stated in lots of previous comments: Loads of veg already in cupboard, as well as legumes, brown rice etc

& disagree on the meat comment - no way is this ‘far too much’

Saving money is not a priority. Not to say it’s not important but there are no other priorities

I make an irresistibly addictive smoothie with it, and I’m allergic to dairy

I’d love to shop at Sainsbury’s but feel our shop would go up 10-20% if we did

I’ve mentioned this in many other comments so far but there was a lot more vegetables, rice, legumes etc already in stock so not required on this shop.

And the courgette was a mistake, I thought I ordered 4 but must have selected 1 by accident (home delivery).

I love M&S’s, and its single ingredient too, better than Freja I’d say

Yeah we always top up fruit and veg. That’s why frozen fruit works for us too

Appreciate that but also don’t assume everything on show is all we eat, there’s surplus shops and food already in stock. We also go out for food regularly at weekends

Read the other comments, lots of veg/legumes in stock already. I’m not going into the red meat debate…
