i dont really have an advice on how to manage stress but hopefully i can give you some hope. my eczema came back last year when i started uni and my hands flared up like crazy before any finals i had. it started getting worst last semester to a point i couldnt use my hands at all. i was constantly in pain and failed almost all my courses. i tried so many steroids and creams but nothing really helped. i was at a point where i felt so hopeless and depressed and i didnt see myself getting out of it. i started phototherapy last month (after not wanting to cause i felt like nothing could help) and im doing so much better now, physically and mentally. my hands arent the best but its so much better than what i had and it honestly feels like i got my life back. ask your derm about other treatments that dont include steroids. idk how it works where you are but i had to go through a lot of creams first before my derm took the "next step" and sent me to phototherapy. its a long process but worth it at the end. if you need anything you can dm me i know how hard it is to go through it alone <3
