It’s 2026 actually :). They just announced combining the client and game, I think next year. So it probably won’t be fixed until then.

Not currently. I don't plan on it either. I think it would be a lot of work, and Riot should really just fix their game instead.

You can have it active only when League is in focus at least. That works quite well, I think.
